Evgeny Roizman was born in Sverdlovsk on September 14, 1962. His father is a teacher of Russian language and literature. He also worked as a power engineer at Uralmashzavod. Mother, a graphic designer by training, worked as a kindergarten teacher.
The boy did not differ in diligence and obedience, he changed schools, which is typical of children with an urethral vector, who do not tolerate restrictions, who have a quick and paradoxical mind. The conflict with his father led to the fact that Eugene left home at the age of 14. As he says himself, he considered himself smarter than his father.
Systemically, we understand that this is a certain scenario - a father with an anal vector (to be a teacher is his vocation), and an urethral son, to whom the parent is trying to instill obedience. Children should respect and obey their parents - this is how fathers with this type of mental state think. However, the urethral adolescent does not tolerate any framework. He is a leader by nature and does not recognize any authority over himself.
The first taste of freedom was unsuccessful. Without parents, the guy had to survive on his own, as a result of which, at the age of 17, he was convicted of theft, fraud and illegal carrying of weapons. After serving three years of his sentence, Evgeny learned a valuable lesson from prison, which he voiced in his interviews: “I believe that every Russian intellectual should be in prison. It gives such an understanding of life! Will not hurt anyone. Another value in life … The most precious thing a person has is his freedom. It is unnatural to protect some people from others,”says Roizman the values of his nature. After all, the worst thing that can happen in the life of a urethral person is the restriction of freedom.
Since the natural place of the leader is at the top of the social hierarchy, in any environment the owners of the urethral vector rush to where they are intended to be - at the head of the group. Once in a criminal environment, they often become criminal bosses and gang leaders there. The choice of society, however, is theirs. It is due to the level of mental development of the urethral person. The further fate of Roizman testifies to the fact that his criminal youth and convictions did not deform his essential guidelines for giving back to people, protecting the weak - children, the elderly, the disabled and those in trouble, destitute people.
“I've been with books all my life. This is what once did not allow me to cross that border. And thank God, - Eugene reveals in an interview. The choice of the environment largely determines the fate of a person. Roizman preferred the environment of the authors of the books who read avidly.
It can be assumed that in adolescence, Roizman probably met a developed skin-visual woman, who set him the correct life scenario for the rest of his life. Maybe it was a language or literature teacher, maybe someone else. But it is such a woman, focused on empathy and sympathy for people, who instills in the urethral boy a love of literature and art, and his natural desire for mercy and justice receives powerful support and is fully realized.
Patronage of art
The dramatic moment of the transition to social activities is yet to come. In the meantime, Evgeny enters the history department of the Ural State University and since 1985 with all his passion he goes into the history of icon painting, poetry and art. After graduating from the university in 2003, the young man receives the specialty of a historian-archivist with a specialization in the mining Urals and icon painting of the Old Believers.
Evgeny Roizman is sensitive to art. In 1999 he became the founder of the first and only private museum in Russia "Nevyansk Icon", which contains icons of the Nevyansk Old Believer school of icon painting. A restoration workshop with a department for children at the school named after I. D. Shadr was created at the museum.
Evgeny Vadimovich Roizman is an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, and publishes books. In 2010 he was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts "For his contribution to Russian culture."

Rebel leader
And yet, human grief knocks on his successful life. In the late 90s, the drug situation in 1.5 million Yekaterinburg becomes threatening. Child mortality from overdoses is increasing. In some areas, ambulances simply pick up the bodies of teenagers on the street.
He, of course, cannot pass by. "If this is possible in my city, then who am I?"
In the summer of 1999, fate brings Yevgeny Roizman together with a former drug addict with 11 years of experience Andrei Kabanov and businessman Igor Varov. This is how the City Without Drugs Foundation appeared, which is engaged in the fight against drug trafficking in Yekaterinburg and its environs. Roizman becomes the head of the fund, and the number of the rescue pager is publicly announced. And in September of the same year, they initiate a movement of popular resistance to drugs and an uprising against the "empire." (This is how the fund managers dubbed the local authorities' criminal conspiracy with drug dealers.)
The uprising began with the Great Standing in a gypsy village on September 22, 1999. Regardless of the government, the male system of collective protection and security has worked, which supports any society. Representatives of the whole city gathered in the premises of Varov's cafe and made a spontaneous decision about a general gathering in a gypsy village. The next day, at the appointed time, everyone stood! Each brought more people. “There were grown men in black suits, in Mercedes. People are 300-400. It was scary. It was impressive and great! That is, this act has its significance to this day,”confirms Andrey Kabanov. It was a breakthrough, as a result of which the fight against drug trafficking in Yekaterinburg and its environs is rapidly gaining momentum, and the foundation gains enemies and associates.
"City without drugs" publicly announces the names of officials who cover the drug trade, shows shocking footage. Desperate Kabanov “on the air for the whole city says whatever he thinks. And at this moment Khabarov calls me and says: “Zhenya, what are they doing! They will be killed! Well, they will be killed! What are they doing? Let them call me. Let them say that I am with them! At least they will all be afraid of us together!”- recalls the head of the foundation E. Roizman about the appearance of associates among the leaders of the city-forming enterprises. The Foundation receives messages from citizens by pager about outlets where drug trafficking is concerned, helps to organize raids to catch drug dealers, and holds thousands of protest rallies in the center of Yekaterinburg. Foundation representatives called it their extended meeting. According to police estimates, about 4,500 citizens took part in it.
The spontaneously organized Fund was an act of civil defense against drug trafficking and a urethral response to people's cry for help. It could not be otherwise. People came to Varov, Kabanov and Roizman, begging to do something for their particular beloved and suffering child. The leader does not divide people by social status, and children - into friends and foes. Natural altruism in the urethral vector is irresistible and strives to give back to lack. By saving any child, he saves an entire generation and the future of his flock.
“I'm not going to save the world. I have no time. I had territory - our city, and I saw what drugs are doing to our city. We gathered and tried to resist somehow. It's like when you see that someone is drowning, you run to pull it out. " He just came, saw and began to fight with the "dragon" that captured his city. And the urethral person does not take energy - by nature it is given for four. “Zhenya is a motor, this is a human being! I am very grateful to fate that I became close to such a person. Motorische - he can pick up, load on himself and shove! " - says his colleague Andrei Kabanov about Roizman.
Under the leadership of Roizman, the Foundation is actively developing its activities. Hospices for drug-free rehabilitation of drug addicts are opened, the first of which is named after Doctor Lisa - Lisa Glinka. By 2003, three rehabilitation centers had already been created: two for men and one for women. In the hope of salvation, relatives bring not only drug addicts to the centers, but also hopeless alcoholics.
"City without drugs." The results are impressive
The most objective and indicative statistics are the ambulance services of Yekaterinburg. In 2002 and 2003, not a single child died from drugs in the city. "For the sake of this one could have dropped everything and started!" - exclaims E. Roizman, President of the City Without Drugs Foundation. In 1999, 8-10-year-old drug addicts came to the fund, 31 deaths were recorded in the city. By the early 2000s, this was no longer the case, and by 2003 it had completely disappeared. Adult mortality has also declined. From 1999 to 2003, deaths from overdoses in Yekaterinburg decreased by almost 12 times.
In rehabilitation centers, a zone of sobriety is created and a pause is sought in a drug-free way. A person accustomed to unconscious existence gets the opportunity to turn on consciousness and freedom of choice. The method gives a stable result. Up to 20% of rehabilitants have completely freed themselves from addiction. However, the foundation, represented by Roizman, is constantly accused of violating human rights, and criminal cases are being brought against him.
When asked what exactly happened in the center, one of the former drug addicts testifies: “We were brought up in the center. First of all, they brought up. They were brought up by normal, healthy men! " Those who had already "jumped off" helped those who were still struggling. A system of collective mutual assistance was created, where everyone was responsible for everyone - according to the type of system that Makarenko used in his correctional institutions. And it was an intuitively correct step.
The scope of the psyche of modern adolescents is enormous. The leap in the development of their consciousness tears apart generations so much that parents are no longer able to provide their children with the sense of security and safety necessary for development, cannot find a common language with them. This is partly why children become drug addicts. Yuri Burlan's training "System-Vector Psychology" offers, as a solution to the problem, a collective system of safety for children and adolescents of an adult type, when, under the guidance of adults, everyone takes responsibility for their neighbor. Such a collective system exists in the Roizman centers, and with an understanding of the very root of drug addiction, the results could be even more impressive.
The true causes of drug addiction are revealed by "System-Vector Psychology", and the effectiveness of people getting rid of drug addiction after Yuri Burlan's training reaches 100%. The primary demand for drugs is created by suffering sound people, through them drugs enter the life of the whole society, take root. The sound vector, with its pressing questions about the meaning of life without answers, strives to be filled with infinity and to a state of absolute integrity - on the other side of finite life. The meaninglessness of existence and the futility of searching for the meaning of being leads sound specialists to the desire to de-energize this pain - to stop feeling the absurdity of the illusion of existence. First you want to fill this black hole with at least something, any surrogate that causes at least some kind of joy in life, a desired change in consciousness, and then suicidal thoughts lead to states,bringing the physical body closer to death in the hope of freeing the soul from its captivity. The state closest to death is sleep. Narcotic sleep is also an option. During the training, sound deficiencies are filled with the long-awaited meaning of life, and people share their results.
Drug addiction is a complex problem of the whole society. The request forms the psychic of the largest volume, requiring more and more filling with each new generation. And drugs act as a substitute that kills the psyche. This problem cannot be eradicated without fighting drug trafficking. But drug trafficking itself is not the cause, but only the effect.
Breakthroughs on the anti-drug front in Yekaterinburg during the daily operations of the fund, together with representatives of various law enforcement agencies, led to the red-handed capture of hundreds of small and large drug dealers. By 2003, about a dozen drug dealers were imprisoned, including Mama Rosa, Tanya Morozovskaya and other oldest dealers.
Generosity, fearlessness, lack of aggression
The fight against drugs has demonstrated all the main urethral qualities of Yevgeny Roizman. The fund was based on the private money of three men, but required constant financial injections. In rehabilitation centers, they charged only for food, and some drug addicts were treated for free.
Roizman took full personal responsibility for everything, considering himself not entitled to shift the burden that he chose to others. He kept a fund with money from his business, sold everything he owned, even his favorite racing car. "I carried my everything there." (Although he was accused of the opposite - of embezzling the fund's money.)
Having declared war on drugs, Roizman entered into a direct and acute conflict with the power structures of his city. Breakthroughs on the anti-drug front did not give rest to the "empire" - as he called the close cooperation of drug dealers with traitors who cover them in police uniforms.
In this situation, Roizman showed gigantic self-control, courage and courage. When asked if he was afraid to get involved in this war, he replied: “It's terrible. On the other hand, when children inject, it is even worse. And then, if you think about it, imagine that we were born and raised in this city. This is our city. If in our city we suddenly start to be afraid of something else, well, it's just ridiculous …"
Concerned only with the salvation of his fellow citizens, he is not at all concerned with his own survival. Once he learned that an attempt was being made on his life. After a while, when asked how they were going to kill him, he replied: “To be honest, I don’t remember, I’m not interested.”
At the same time, he has absolutely no hostility, aggression towards other people. Roizman fights sometimes, yes. But not because he feels aggression: "I don't want to beat, I have no aggressiveness." When the owner of the urethral vector sees how the weak is being offended, sees injustice, he feels strong anger, which he cannot contain because of his impulsivity.
