Russians or Russians? A word about words
What's wrong with the Russian ethnos? Why is all the political power of the world aimed at distorting the concept of "Russian"?
We are Russians! What a delight!
A. V. Suvorov
The word "Russians", first used at the beginning of the 16th century. By the translator of the Bible, Maxim the Greek, a heretic and non-covetous, later a saint, it was difficult to take root in Russia. Only at the end of the 17th century. this word reappears in Simeon Polotsky's "verses", where "Rossians", and even with a capital letter, sounds solemn, not to say - pompous. For an ode to the king just right. The next “appearance” of the “Rossians” is found in Theophan Prokopovich's “Lay for the Burial of Peter the Great”. The archbishop tragically exclaims: “What is there? How long have we lived, about the Russians? What do we see? What are we doing? We will bury Peter the Great!.."
The same meanings of a suddenly opened abyss of an incomprehensible future, in front of which one should at least unite, was introduced into this word by Boris Yeltsin, who realized that he had no strength to stop the largest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century. Calling on the former republics of the USSR to take as much sovereignty as they can, Boris Nikolaevich suddenly found himself at the grave of a great country. Yeltsin could not help feeling the responsibility for the collapse of the USSR with all his being, all his urethral-muscular psychic. In those conditions, he could not find words, and he was prompted how to turn to the dismembered country, swelled by nationalism, where the word "Russian" suddenly became synonymous with the word "enemy". "Russians!" - this is the word that will unite Russia "and every language that exists in it." Didn't combine. This word, archaic, far-fetched, caused people to laugh bitterly - crying through the hair on the removed head …
Russian revolt did not take place
In the mouth of Yeltsin, the word "Russians" did not fulfill the task assigned to him. Nationalism is already out of control. The local kings of sovereignty gained themselves with a margin for years of vegetation. In the new "independent and democratic" republics, the Russian people found themselves in the position of a powerless minority. Yeltsin feared that the response to such a situation could be the rise of Russian nationalism, that Russia would drown in the blood of civil war and fall apart into unviable pieces, as happened with the Union.
The rise of Russian nationalism did not happen. The ideas of the titular nation, picked up by a handful of frustrated marginals, could not have any significant impact on events. There is no nationalist infection in the Russian urethral-muscular mentality, even those who have been dismembered do not take revenge, we do not take skin revenge, and in times of hardship we give it to those who are weaker, including those who are separated and independent.
Meanwhile, the negativity of the concept of "Russian" was in full swing. All radio stations in the country worked. What was not here: we are lazy, and careless, and we love freebies, and in general - thieves, bandits and drunkards.
AD Vasiliev [1] collected an interesting selection of statements by our "television artists":
Although “everything is very much exaggerated about the Russian character, this is an unpolished character” [RTR. 11/22/98], some of its features are declared absolutely categorically. So, on the eve of the anniversary, commenting on the events of the last days of the Great Patriotic War, the presenter says: "I let … our initial inferiority, our Russian carelessness" ["Sunday." Ostankino. 7.5.95]. “Traditional Russian disrespect for the law” [M. Gurevich. "Affairs". Afontovo. 18.7.96]. “We recognize that, as it were, laziness is our national trait” [A. Isaev. "Rush hour". 9.4.98]. "Of course, love for freebies is a truly Russian trait" [Zam. Dean of Moscow State University - on the opening of a charitable dining room for students. Good Morning Russia. RTR. 12/15/98]. “It is extremely difficult to cope with the habits of a Russian person to litter and break” [Novosti. Afontovo. 9/30/99].“In our Russian mentality there are terrifying chimeras … Unique, mysterious and depressing depths of the Russian soul …” [M. Zakharov. "Vesti". RTR. 4.5.97]. “Freedom is a strange word for us, for our mentality” [M. Zakharov. "Quiet House". ORT. 12.5.99]. “The repressive system reflects the cruel mentality of our people. I am horrified all the time: how cruel we are, how bloody we are! " [AND. Pristavkin. "In the world of people." TV-6. 6.2.98].
Well, I went from here to a different mentality
Looking at the TV, the Russian people understood that beating in the Russian police was an everyday matter, that defects in a Russian car arise endogenously, that only Russians steal in Europe, and the Russian education system is flawed. And so on and so forth.
Other figures of "culture" were not lagging behind, admitting a stinking smell of nationalism in seemingly good films: "You are not my brother, you black ass louse." “Look at yourself - black as a bastard. Get out of here! " ("Brother-2" by A. Balabanov, 2000). What is it? What (semi) intelligent face did not twist in a squeamish grimace while listening to these "pearls"? But they listened and, what is worse, allowed those who did not have the proper cultural, visual criteria for assessing the disgusting stuffing. So, someone needed a Russian man Danila Bagrov to be presented as a xenophobe?
To reduce the meaning of the word "Russian", mockery like "Russian folk show" Playboy ", "fraudulent loans in Russian" and, of course, endless stories about the "Russian mafia" that terrify all "progressive humanity" worked. It does not matter that "the Spanish authorities, who do not distinguish between citizens of the former USSR and hastened to announce the defeat of the Russian mafia, detained the citizens of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine." For them, we are all Russians. Not "Russians" at all, namely Russians - Russen, Russians, russe.
So we are defined from a different, skin, mentality, where the main thing is, under the jurisdiction of which state the person falls, to whom he is responsible according to the law. An African American, a Hispanic, and an ethnic Chinese will say with equal confidence: I'm American. And they will be right. I pay US taxes, so I'm an American. Les Français, der Deutsche, Suomalainen - both ethnos and citizenship.
"I think in Russian" (Dina Rubina)
What's wrong with the Russian ethnos? Why is all the political power of the world aimed at distorting the concept of "Russian"?
Let's start with the Russian language and easily see that the ethnonym "Russian", unlike the nouns "German", "Tungus" or "Kalmyk", is an adjective. Substantiated, undoubtedly, and yet not who? - Russ, Rusak, Rusyn, and which one? -Russian. To what or to whom can the concept of "Russian" be "applied"? Who can be considered Russian? Looking at this question systematically, that is, from the inside of the mental unconscious, we get: Russian is the one who feels himself to be such from within the mental. And nothing else matters. Neither the color of the eyes, nor the shape of the nose, nor, by and large, even the country of residence or citizenship.
The writer Dina Rubina, an Israeli woman who became the author of Total Dictation in 2013 [2], says: “First, I think in Russian … Of course, I am a Russian person in my outlook, in my roots … Again, this is my homeland: I was born in Tashkent. " How many meanings in a small quote!
The urethral nucleus of the Russian ethnos
The Eurasian urethral-muscular mentality, formed in Russia over hundreds of years, is not subject to the latest trends in political correctness. This is how we feel. This is how we feel, despite all the attempts of the olfactory policy of the West to throw the concept of "Russian" into the marginal space of extremism.
Russia is a tasty morsel for the guardians of a unipolar world. Depersonalizing the Russians, depriving them of their understanding of the integrating identity of the urethral core, around which other peoples and ethnic groups rally *, is the most important task of our political opponents who want to win the struggle for the (fundamental) mental values of a group of people living in Russia and abroad.
* About a hundred indigenous peoples live in the Russian Federation, that is, those whose main ethnic territory is located in Russia. In addition, there are more than sixty peoples / ethnic groups, the bulk of whose tribesmen live outside of Russia. More details:

Archaism “Russians” is a forced word at a certain historical stage in the early 90s, when the Union collapsed and the question of the collapse of Russia arose very acutely. This word expresses a false political correctness in relation to people within whom the egoism of nationalism is exacerbated. Very often those who are haunted by their own nationalist frustrations insist on the use of the euphemism "Russians". For these confused and lying, the glorious word "Russian" is like a red rag for a bull, because through the beloved "I was not given enough" the unconscious of these people continues to know the painful truth: Russian means salvation, Russian means the future.
"We are Russians and therefore we will win" (A. V. Suvorov)
The abolition of the "nationality" column in the Russian passport does not make us "Russians", we remain Russian Tatars, Russian Germans, Russian Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Jews, or simply Russians - for those who allocate their national roots their rightful place in the kitchen and in the ethnographic museum … “Russian” is not a blood concept. A Russian is one who, from within the psychic, feels his cultural and mental identity with Russia, who shares common mental values, regardless of which tribe it is possible to grope in itself, say, a water or some other strange thing. The common values of Russians are the values of the Russian urethral-muscular mentality: natural return, self-sacrifice, tolerance, the primacy of the whole over the private, mercy and justice.
The Russian army was the multinational regiments of Alexander Nevsky and Dmitry Donskoy, Minin and Pozharsky, Kutuzov and Bagration, Zhukov and Timoshenko, Baghramyan and Rokossovsky. “We are Russians, so we will win,” said A. Suvorov, and he knew a lot about victories.
The Byzantine Theophan the Greek and the Tatar Karamzin, the German Zander and the Armenian Aivazovsky, the Jew Chagall and the Pole Malevich, the Frenchman Falconet and the Italian Rastrelli, the Pole Tsiolkovsky and the Jewess Plisetskaya … The list of Russian people who have contributed to world science and art is endless. Science is never national, art erases the boundaries of "our own - someone else's", leaving only cultural restrictions for the beast in itself. Anyone who voluntarily puts himself outside of culture and science, outside of a systemic understanding of the processes taking place in the world, deprives himself of a chance for the future.
The information war is being waged to establish total control over the "interested" state, so that, having plunged it into chaos controlled from the outside, have a reliable tool working against the people of this state. On the example of Ukraine, we clearly see what this leads to. In a war situation, and the war in Ukraine is a war of the West against Russia, we must not forget about the state-forming task of the Russian ethnos, we must not allow distortion of the concept of "Russian".
