Postpartum Depression Symptoms: Breaking the Vicious Circle

Postpartum depression, the reasons for which lie in the lack of opportunities to realize certain features of the woman's psyche, becomes for her an unbearable suffering, depriving her of the joys of motherhood …

The birth of a child in every sense changes the life of his mother. No matter how she prepares for this, no matter how she anticipates and fantasizes, no matter how many books she reads, the reality in any case will be completely different.

But when a dear, beloved and long-awaited child is no longer happy, when his every cry gives a pain in his temples, the next night rise is given by a titanic effort, and the husband's proposal to visit friends on the weekend only causes irritation, then the thought creeps in that it is possible, this is postpartum depression, the symptoms of which are so toxic to your life.

This is clearly some kind of psychological problem, since this has never been observed before - everything was just the opposite. You could easily sit well past midnight at work, reading a fascinating book, or even watching movies or surfing the Web all night. I didn't want to sleep! You often listened to music, sometimes you listened loudly, especially with headphones, and it did not hurt at all. Communicating with friends was a joy, but now I just don't want to see anyone, absolutely no one, not even loved ones and relatives … my only desire is to cover myself with a pillow and lie there for a week, in darkness, silence and loneliness.

Postpartum depression, the reasons for which lie in the lack of opportunities to realize certain features of the woman's psyche, becomes unbearable suffering for her, depriving her of the joys of motherhood, giving rise to misunderstanding in the family, problems in communicating with others and accepting herself as a mother, wife, woman.

Further aggravation of the condition can lead to the most sad and terrible consequences - the emergence of suicidal desires or thoughts about how to get rid of the child. Psychological suffering can reach such force that it can push a woman even to a crime.

The symptoms of postpartum depression are just manifestations of psychological voids that require their filling. This is how the dissatisfied properties of the sound vector manifest themselves, striving to get their own realization and not receiving it.

The baby's constant need for maternal care, care, even just being around deprives a woman of almost completely the opportunity to spend time in solitude, to comprehend the changes that have taken place in life, to listen to her feelings.

The urgent need for the first time to deal only with everyday life and the baby, to be constantly at home deprives a young mother of professional implementation in work or other hobbies, which also leaves psychological needs unfulfilled.

It is in these gaping voids of the psyche that the causes of postpartum depression in women with a sound vector lie. In such a frustrated state, any, even the most insignificant, sound stress is painfully tolerated. If earlier loud children's crying or crying was perceived bearable, albeit unpleasant, now such an irritant becomes unbearable.

It was quite easy to sacrifice a night's sleep for the sake of interesting work before the birth of a child, but in conditions of a sound vacuum, night sleep becomes the only possible outlet when both the physical body and the tired psyche are resting, therefore, an inadequate interrupted rest is perceived so painfully and acutely.

Assessing the situation from the point of view of system-vector psychology, it becomes obvious that all signs of postpartum depression indicate only one thing - the lack of implementation in the dominant sound vector. As for the symptoms of prenatal depression, they are most often associated with completely different experiences. You can read about it here.

Training in system-vector psychology by Yuri Burlan gives the strongest fulfillment of the desires of the sound vector, since this is a powerful impetus in self-knowledge, in comprehending the meaning of existence of man and humanity, those mechanisms that give rise to desires in our psyche, forming the life scenario of both individuals and society as a whole.

Filling her own psychological needs, the sound mother can forget about postpartum depression already in the process of training. Deeply understanding herself, her psychological nature, needs and properties, a woman is quite capable of finding an opportunity to at least partially realize herself in sound in order to pass the "trial period" of early motherhood with the least loss for herself and the whole family.

Depression is passing, this is confirmed by the responses of hundreds of trainees of the training, among whom were young mothers. Check out excerpts from some of them:

Having children is a crisis for any person.

This creature, which should bring joy, blew my brain! I didn't know what to do with him. Why is he to me and why is he at all!

Depression. Morning now met the thought "just not this, again life, again to suffer until the next dream …". There was no longer any strength to wait for old age. Children's crying made me run away from the source of the cry, but in contrast to this there was an understanding that this should not be so. I wanted to get rid of the unbearable pain - a cry from outside and a cry from within!

After the training, all the contradictions that tormented me became clear. The feeling that the world can be cognized was not deceiving, and this tool of cognition was provided to us! Now it becomes clearer to me every day, why still live. I have no time to regret life, and I no longer wait for old age, like a vegetable, for this nightmare to end …

Before meeting with SVP, I had different states of search, but always one - SEARCH. Sects, soft drugs, suicide attempt, various psychological trainings, acceptance of the Orthodox faith. Nothing saved me from the conditions that covered me with a black blanket. There was aggression towards my 1.5 year old child. When my daughter made any high-pitched sound, her ears curled up into a tube, and I just wanted to NAIL her. MADNESS … During the passage of the 1st level, the fears of darkness, all evil spirits disappeared. I get tremendous pleasure from communicating with my daughter. Understanding myself and that I am not alone with such a worldview gave a new impetus for new strength, creativity and the desire to live with a full sense of myself and this world. I am changing - the quality of my life is changing.

… not to meet on my way the person who recommended the SVP to me and sent me to the courses, if it were not for Yuri himself and the SVP, I don't know where I would be and how I could harm my child …

In addition, systemic thinking, which is formed during the training, gives the ability to transfer family relationships to a qualitatively new level, realizing the psychological characteristics of a partner and the essence of paired relationships, thoroughly and competently approach the upbringing of a child, understanding his needs, stages and conditions for the development of a child's psyche, and it is also by far the most effective way to realize yourself by enjoying what you do.

Postpartum depression for many women becomes an impetus to increase their psychological literacy, to understand themselves and forget about negative conditions, which they can easily cope with on their own, having received just the key to understanding unconscious mechanisms.
