When there is a harvest, we get a maximum of 3 from one grain. And so often there is no harvest - then everything froze, then it died in the floods. And if there was anything left, then the tribute collectors came and took them away.
There has never been a tribute in the West. There is a tax. After all, all these cities and states arose on the basis of agriculture. If there is no protection, "roof", they come to whoever they hit and rob. Therefore, I need a "roof", protection by fortress walls. At the expense of my grain, a powerful gang is created: you protect me, and I feed you. Cities and states with their own troops are beginning to form, protecting me.
In the West, from my harvest, I keep a fortress wall. I pay taxes and I am protected. This is wealth, such a harvest. I can gradually begin to support other freeloaders - artisans, cultural workers, science. Development is underway.
At the same time, we, in Russia, have no harvest, because it is dying, there is nothing to keep the freeloaders from. It is not taxes that are collected, but tribute. Violently. Our cities are not trade, they are military forts. There were attempts to create trade cities such as Arkhangelsk. But they quickly stopped. They have taxes, we have a tribute. Their bandits "cover" the fat crops, and our bandits rob. They are protected by the state, and we are robbed by the state.

And we do not have it in Russia. It didn't add up. We even go to visit with an open mind without an invitation. There is no concept of private property and its violation. There is no harvest, no land, and who needs it like that. There is no law that protects my added value either.
In my head, democracy is when you come to Red Square and shout: "Brezhnev is a fool!" And you won't get anything for it. And today - "Putin is a thief!" And go to Obama and do something - you will immediately get under the big hood.
The law is at first the protection of collective property (initially - food), which is then divided into private property according to the principle "mine is someone else's." This is a mental continuity, a special feeling, an understanding of the world, which makes it possible to create law, private property, technology.
We are different, we must not follow the American path, we cannot be a bird in a fish flock. We are chirped: "As fish swim in America, let's do it too." But we have wings, not fins …
