The Russians' understanding of Freedom was fundamentally different from the ideas of the inhabitants of Europe and America. As it turned out, Russians tend to understand freedom as permissiveness, the absence of restrictions: "I do what I want."
Once upon a time, our lecturer opened a course of lectures on intercultural communication at the Faculty of Translation with a story about the study. Representatives of various nations were asked what freedom was in their understanding. The answers of the inhabitants of European countries in minor variations boiled down to understanding freedom as an opportunity to realize their potential, to take place as an individual, to have the opportunity to achieve their goals, personal happiness, and the like. The ideas of the inhabitants of the New World differed little from this. The answers of the DPRK citizens, who are forced to see freedom as an opportunity to serve for the good of the Social Democratic Party of Korea, were a sad curiosity … And the understanding of Freedom among Russians was fundamentally different from the ideas of residents of Europe and America. As it turned out, Russians tend to understand freedom as permissiveness,no restrictions: “I do what I want”.
And today I often hear the judgments of ordinary people, not economists, lawyers or historians, but those people who simply sincerely root for the fate of their country, who ask themselves the question: how is this? How can a country that is home to the greatest scientists, with all its internal wealth, can be humiliatingly considered a third world country, one of the so-called "developing countries" ?! We are not accepted into the European Union, the WTO, NATO, but we are the worst of all or what!
WHAT ARE WE WORSE OF ALL?
So, how are we different from others, what is the gap between us and the "first world"?
We have already found out that Russia is the bearer of the urethral mentality (Mysterious Russian soul), while the "first world", that is, Western civilization, today not only has a global skin mentality, but is in a complementary combination with the current skin phase of human development … Glorified by all civilized countries of the world, the political regime is democracy, every country that has built democracy declares it with pride, yet others strive to implement democracy, declaring democratic values as an absolute standard. And this is natural, because the highest value for the skin civilization is a standardized law that guarantees equal rights and freedoms to all members of society without exception.
"Russia is a democratic federal rule of law with a republican form of government" - this is what they write in all textbooks and encyclopedias.
How does the law work on the urethral mental landscape?
Democracy is above all the Law. Law as a product of a cutaneous measure, a highly contradictory urethral one. If you ask any Russian: "Is it possible to break the law for the sake of a just cause, is it possible, for example, to commit a crime to save someone's life?", Then, probably, only one in a million will answer "no." Will a Russian be condemned for such an "honest crime"? Of course, he will not condemn, rather in his eyes it will look cowardly and shameful inaction based on the arguments of a blind law. While in the West it is forbidden to save lives if it is against the law. In a system that functions thanks to a perfectly working law, what remains is either to perish … or to die legally. On the urethral mental landscape, such a situation will always seem wild … just as urethral "noble impulses" will invariably frighten the West with Russia's wild prowess and lawlessness. And this is not at all the fault of the political structure, the moral character of citizens or propaganda: the carriers of different mentalities live under the same sky, but as if in different worlds.
Let us recall how Soviet people, young and old, in spite of prohibitions, laws and threats, in the strictest secrecy, overcoming an annoying plug, listened to the Voice of America. Did the compilers of propaganda editions know that their carefully calibrated images could not penetrate the minds; Did the consumers of propaganda themselves know that they were hearing and imagining a different world than the one they were trying to show them?
For those languishing behind the Iron Curtain, this voice was a breath of freedom, a door slit to the wonderful world where free people live. “Free! Free! " - we envied. “Free, not limited by anyone or anything. Free! Go wherever you want, say what you want, do what you want, without looking back at the vigilant supervision of the party! " Was this the world that they were trying to show us living a life, impeccably ordered by legal rights, freedoms and obligations? And what did we see? No, not the right to free competition, private property and choice of goods! At best, we dreamed of the right to freedom of speech and movement … not realizing that freedom of speech is not “say what I want”. Did we know that “Under American law, government radio stations are prohibited from broadcasting directly to American citizens. The purpose of this is to try to shield US citizens from the propaganda statements of their own government (Smith-Mundt Act)”(Wikipedia).

The root, the essence of every law is limitation.
In the Whole Living Substance, the skin vector performs the function of limitation, the archetype of the skin vector is primarily a self-limiting, secondary limiting function.

It is with the participation of the Skin part of the Whole that this prohibition is imposed on our desires.
The entire temperament of the skin vector is aimed primarily at limiting oneself, secondarily at limiting the primary urges of all members of the pack, which raises the proposed limitation into a system of rules, norms of interaction in society. In the primitive flock, the leather man was the keeper of food supplies, limited, saved their consumption. The ban on murder within the pack for the first time created the preconditions for the formation of a single society, with the common goal of surviving and continuing itself in time. Limiting the consumption of food supplies, the prohibition of theft between members of the same group have become the oldest law of human society, tearing us away from the animal state.
And only the urethral vector does not need skin limitation.
The urethral libido, in relative terms, is the most powerful, not subject to restriction. It is this that is the feedback for the fulfillment of its natural function. In the state, the world is a direct product and responsibility for the life of living matter. The urethral is the only vector that does not need sublimation, all its vital energy is directly aimed at ensuring the life of the entire flock. The root of the states of the urethral vector is the return from oneself to the outside, we call this "animal altruism." This return is carried out at all levels, from the simplest physiological - the return of sperm in the production of new individuals necessary for survival (as well as the skin at the physiological level limits the body from the external environment),to the level of the psychic - all the life-creation of the urethral leader of the pack is aimed at giving back according to shortages for the good of the lives entrusted to him. In a state of war, the task of the urethral leader is to expand the living space of the pack. There is no and cannot be a task to restrict urethral movement. It is impossible to limit the bestowal, since only receiving into oneself is limited.
Thus, cutaneous restriction, cutaneous law does not apply to urethral power. The urethral leader lives by one law inherent only to him - the law of justice, which has nothing to do with either a skin standardized law, or with anal equalizing justice, implying equal distribution. Urethral justice is above the law - it is giving back according to shortages, giving a greater share to the most needy, literally to each according to his needs, and, as a feedback, a reciprocal return according to the possibilities from the recipients.
MENTALITY. CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE MODE OF ACTION
As we can see, the urethral vector is extremely contradictory to the cutaneous one; they literally move in exactly opposite directions. Due to this contradiction, on Russian soil there have never been prerequisites for the development of skin people of their properties, the skin vector in its mass has always remained relatively undeveloped, skin value systems have not been historically formed. In Tsarist Russia, this shortage was made up for by attracting resources from outside, let us recall how Peter the Great practically forcibly instilled the European way of life in all its aspects: he ordered foreign specialists, was the first to use the European experience of engineering, legislation, and organization of the state apparatus.
For the first time, Soviet Russia was able to raise domestic engineers of the highest class: the country of Soviets was the first attempt in history to build an urethral social formation, the ideological principle of which "from each according to his ability" made it possible for everyone, including representatives of the skin vector. It was on the basis of the idea of making a feasible contribution to building the future at the dawn of the formation of the USSR that the skin part received a powerful impetus for development.
This was the only and very short-lived period in the country's history that ended long before the fall of the socialist regime, when, on the one hand, the creative properties of the skin vector found their realization, and on the other hand, skin marginal manifestations were largely restrained by social fear.
At the same time, we see in Russia massive underdevelopment, archetypal skin vector, inability to self-restraint and unrestrained consumption into oneself, which is primarily expressed in the acute problem of theft at all social levels without exception.
And today, for the first time, we have a political system in which the mentality does not express itself as a social formation and, moreover, comes into conflict with it. If before the revolution of 1917 we had a strict vertical of power, at the head of the state was a ruler, albeit not always urethral, but nominally in power, if the Soviet Union was a direct attempt to implement an essentially urethral community, now power as such is completely dismantled … And no matter how later the political structure of modern Russia will be named in future history textbooks, at the moment an attempt to build democracy is declared, dictated by the flourishing of the skin phase of human development. And this attempt is being carried out on the basis of not just not prepared for the formation of a democratic society, but also on the basis of mentally opposed to legal regulation.
RULES ARE CREATED TO BREAK
Let's return to the question of the implementation of the law in a society that carries the urethral mentality.
Due to this mental contradiction, not only do the skin properties remain undeveloped for the most part, but also the positive manifestations of the skin vector, such as pragmatism, economy, law-abidingness, are perceived negatively. We tend to think of an economical person as a stingy man, and pragmatism becomes synonymous with callousness and callousness. In other words, we are not just faced with the global underdevelopment of the skin vector, we are accustomed to skin crooks, deceivers and skimmers. In a society, the skin part of which is not developed to the level of the ability to impose self-restraint on itself and is unable to obey the external pressure of restrictions, the perception of the essence of the institution of democracy is completely distorted. The principle of self-government is seen as the authorization of personal freedom. And freedom in the absence of restrictions means uncontrolled freedom and lawlessness,moreover, such a perception does not at all concern exclusively skin people, but becomes a way of thinking accepted in society.
The archetypal properties of the skin vector have finally entered the generally accepted system of values, and we have received theft in its broadest sense in all social structures - from petty street fraud to the global corruption of the bureaucracy.
And this situation is not one of those where the principle of "knocking out a wedge by a wedge" can be useful. It is impossible to fight theft and corruption by tightening the law. Who will put this law into action if there is no sense of legitimacy in the very mental perception? Who will follow this law if the archetypal system of skin values does not create corresponding social fear? Every man in the street clearly feels that the rules are created in order to break them, and honesty, law-abiding, and does appear as naive compliance and awkwardness, inability to take one's own.
It is absolutely pointless to denigrate a corrupt government as the source of the current plight. Again and again we return to the already stereotyped dictum: "ruin in the heads" …
WHO IS GUILTY?
… And this devastation does not descend to us from above, but is equally supported from below, this is obvious in the most banal examples of everyday situations. We, of course, are unhappy with the arbitrariness of the traffic police, but, in turn, we understand very well that it is much easier and more convenient to get off with a minimal bribe than to start a long and tedious lawsuit according to all the rules. Long ago, no one was surprised by the black-and-white wage system, which now operates under an unspoken mutual agreement between employer and employee: both parties benefit from tax evasion. The same employers violate the labor code everywhere: ranging from illegal employment, hiring without an employment contract, delaying wages or changing its size unilaterally without the consent of the employee to seemingly harmless trifles,such as regular unpaid processing on a "voluntary-compulsory" basis or improper administrative penalties. We are so accustomed to face the violation of our legal rights at every step that we ourselves take it for granted, not seeing and not understanding how we could fight it. Everyone clearly understands that, at the very least, it would be naive to come to the bosses with appropriate extracts from the labor code and seek justice, that this will not only lead to nothing, but will threaten, at best, a significant cooling of relations with the management and the worst is loss of space. In all spheres of life today we are adapting without a sense of the law, we simply do not think in these categories. Under our urethral mentality, the law is replaced by the concept of justice, which is also imperfect; if the urethral mental attitude allows you to sacrifice the law for the sake of a good deed, then good and justice is still perceived by everyone subjectively. Justice, embodied by the cutaneous measure, is equality before the law, but for us it does not work; muscular justice, in which the principle "as everything, so I" operates is untenable in the era of skin civilization, praising individualism. Anal value systems are complementary to the urethral mentality and are largely accepted as a way of adaptation, but anal justice, which distributes equally to everyone, is not suitable as the basis of the structure of society. Such justice primarily works for obtaining, we demand, we seek justice only for ourselves … and receiving for ourselves, adjusted for the way of thinking based on the archetypal system of values of the skin vector, again returns to the vicious circle of transactions with conscience, self-interest and greed.
… AND WHAT TO DO?
It is already obvious that democracy is destructive for Russia, and a development path is needed in which the social formation will correspond to the mentality. The urethral vector is the only one that does not require justice for itself, real justice in the urethral way is what is given to others, and not what is obtained for one's own sake.

In addition to the social fear of punishment, which today is already insufficient, there is a much greater force - social shame. The only question is how to cause this shame, if the whole system of values allows theft, bribery and cunning? If it turns out that the very ability to dispose of finances at its own discretion, to accept bribes, to provide patronage to subordinates as nepotism is often an inseparable companion and indicator of a high position in society? If it turns out to be not prestigious to remain at a broken trough because of your inconvenient adherence to principles and short-sighted honesty? The value system changes complementary to the awareness of our properties and unconscious desires: as long as we can come up with any rationalizations of archetypal behavior,there is no hope to "burn out with a hot iron" the flaws of the social structure, because they are created by flaws in internal properties! If everyone thinks, makes a simple calculation - I was deceived here and there, so that I have every moral right to get the unfinished, deceived or cheated elsewhere?
The biggest social fear is the fear of being in the social bottom, of losing the right to bite, of being “lowered”. In a society that lives according to the law of urethral justice, the most valuable members of society are precisely those who, due to the greatest development of their vector properties, due to the greatest ability to sublimate, can give feedback in the form of giving their vital energy outward, for others. And there is nothing worse than feeling like a receiving egoist; such people automatically find themselves in the social bottom. You cannot force anyone to correct themselves, but one has only to realize the low level of development of their properties, the wretchedness of the way of fulfilling desires, aimed exclusively at obtaining pleasure for oneself, and social shame will manifest itself in full. If the whole society is, for example,to recognize an archetypal skin thief and bribe-taker a mile away, then his personal awareness of his own baseness will multiply by the shame of its awareness by others. All this will be possible only if systemic thinking, the ability to differentiate vectors and understand their states will enter the consciousness of the masses, will become global. Let's just try to imagine how this world can change if a generation comes into it, raised not by trial and pedagogical errors, but raised by parents and teachers who systematically understand how to raise every child, giving him every opportunity to grow up as a highly developed, fulfilled and happy person ! What if, sooner or later, there simply are no archetypal scoundrels and unfortunate neurotics left? What would a society be like, consisting mostly of those whom we now call the best, deserved, outstanding … or just good, real people! Have you presented?
