The tragedy in Ivanteevka: what to do to prevent. Psychologist's advice

We are trying to protect the school from an external enemy. And if the enemy is inside the head of the student himself, will these protective measures help?

On September 5, 2017, a 9th grade student Mikhail came to a computer science lesson with weapons, homemade bombs and a firm intention to deal with classmates, and then kill himself. He attacked the teacher, who tried to kick him out of the classroom for inappropriate appearance, with a kitchen ax and a traumatic gun. Some of the classmates managed to close themselves in the back room, the rest tried to jump out the windows of the second floor.

By a lucky coincidence, no one was killed. A teacher with a gunshot wound and open craniocerebral trauma and fractures in three children who jumped out of the window.

How often will our society be shaken by such stories? Where is the guarantee that the next such shooter will not appear in your or our school? What to do to prevent tragedy?

Parents are afraid to let their children go to school. Teachers are afraid to come to class and turn their backs on the children when they have to write something on the board. Children continue to troll each other on social media and in real life.

You can't put a guard on every child. The school has already been practically turned into a closed institution: turnstiles, chips, security. Parents are allowed inside only with a passport. All that remains is to put the metal detectors in place and pull on the barbed wire. We are trying to protect the school from an external enemy. And if the enemy is inside the head of the student himself, will these protective measures help?

I'm afraid not. A recent incident in Minsk confirms this: student Vladislav Kazakevich staged a massacre in a shopping center on October 8, 2016. The day before, when student Kazakevich came to his native university with the same intention, a simple accident saved his classmates from reprisals: the chainsaw, with which he came to cut people, did not start. It didn't work in the audience - I went to the shopping center.

Now, as usual, they are trying to find someone to blame. A security guard, parents, psychologists, psychiatrist, teacher, director … The guilty, of course, will be found and punished. But society is shaking: there is a huge problem. If we do not understand what is happening now, we will soon find ourselves in a world in which we will have to be afraid of each other everywhere - on the street, in transport, in stores, because anyone can be potentially dangerous - even a child.

Nobody needs

Michael was strange. But strange is not a diagnosis, is it? A school psychologist seemed to be working with him about suicidal thoughts, because it was discovered that the teenager was in the death group. But he did not find anything threatening the child's life.

His social media account is replete with weapons. But which of the boys doesn't like guns? He also wrote depressing posts. But which of today's teenagers does not post depressive posts on their page? So nothing special?

There are features. He had no friends in class. And the school was not. And not even on social media. In general, classmates tried not to notice him. Parents "taught" him to be independent and also did not interfere in his life. Even when classmates broke his third glasses in elementary school, his father said: "Deal with it yourself." The guy was not needed by anyone. And even the electronic diary, which he kept and in which he wrote about everything that worries him, no one read.

Could have become a genius, but became a villain

After all, this ninth-grader was not a scumbag of some of the marginal strata, on the contrary, he was far from being a fool. Thoughts, some of which he wrote down in English, the manner of expressing himself, the questions he posed, his isolation and detachment from others betray the presence of a sound vector in him.

Child with sound vector. This phrase will not say anything to someone, but a person familiar with the system-vector psychology of Yuri Burlan will understand everything. And the fact that he was always different from his classmates, that he was closed and, as it were, out of this world, and even that his classmates hounded him at school, and his parents did not understand since childhood.

Such a child, with the correct development of the properties of his sound vector, could become a winner of school Olympiads, and then graduate from a university and, with his ideas and work, would make a huge contribution to national science and economics, and would become pride for his parents and school.

But this will not happen to him. Because the wrong guidelines in education will no longer allow him to develop into a full-fledged member of society. Although, who knows, chances, albeit small, he still has. As system-vector psychology says, the vector properties of a child can be developed before the end of puberty, and Michael is still on its border.

But it makes no sense to blame the parents, they themselves are, in a sense, the affected party. If they knew how to raise such a special child with a sound vector, things might have turned out differently.

But I would like to talk about the school and its role in this tragedy separately.

Every man for himself

He told everyone about his intention. With his words, posts on the Internet, interests, his behavior, he literally screamed for help. But no one understood him and once again did not pay attention.

The children's collective, if an adult does not unite him on the basis of a common goal and joint activity, unites according to the archetypal principle against the weakest - the class begins to persecute him or someone who is somehow different from the others. Misha has been bullied in the classroom since elementary school. The fact that teachers from elementary grades “did not notice” this bullying and isolation of the child, speaks of a huge problem in our education system.

The student is left to himself, he is a “consumer of educational services”. The teacher is placed in the position of a "seller of knowledge", and not a teacher of human souls. Amicable appeals and timid attempts to increase teachers' salaries do not lead to anything, since the illusion of the possibility of "individual happiness" continues to live in society. Everyone wants to be happy on their own, and if someone feels bad, then “these are his problems” and “I have nothing to do with it”.

At school, it is necessary to teach children to "live among people"

The chief psychiatrist of the Russian Ministry of Health, Zurab Kekelidze, believes that mental disorders and abnormalities of mental development are present in 60% of preschoolers and 70-80% of Russian schoolchildren. He hadn't considered it in adults yet!

We can't assign a psychologist to every child! School psychologists are drowning in reports and statistics, they are busy with psychological diagnostics, labor-intensive and completely ineffective. It is clear that the entire system of education and upbringing of the younger generation must be changed.

Only indicators, indicators, indicators are required from the teacher. But in modern reality, you can learn anything on the Internet, but become a human - only among other people.

The very first and most noticeable sign of psychological problems in a child is maladjustment in the school team. This is immediately noticeable to the teacher who works with the class. Only now the creation of this very school team needs to be specially dealt with!

Education officials and teachers themselves, at least from a sense of self-preservation, must understand that the primary function of the school is to educate the individual. Personality is formed only in a team.

It is necessary to re-create a system of educational work in schools, not overorganized, lively, corresponding to the modern dynamic time, which would unite children not out of hostility to their neighbors, but on the basis of creative goals. To do this, you need to use the accumulated pedagogical experience, as well as the latest achievements of modern pedagogical and psychological science.

System-vector psychology of Yuri Burlan shows in detail the mechanisms, principles and methods of forming a team, and also allows you to understand from the inside the psyche of children, the peculiarities of their interaction with parents and peers, makes it possible to correct mental disorders at the earliest stage of their occurrence.

Understand where in the class there is a normal ranking process, and where ruthless bullying. To unite the guys first at a joint meal, and then at a joint positive action. In time to push, direct, protect the child from negative factors - all these tasks become clear and feasible for a teacher with systemic knowledge.

For example, a child with a urethral vector, followed by the whole class, can become an enemy or assistant number one for the teacher in the class. This child is a natural leader, and therefore communication with him must be built so that he is an ally. That is, to remind him of responsibility for everyone: "If not you, then who?"

Tell the parents that a boy with a skin-visual ligament of vectors should not be sent to hockey, where he will not be considered a man, but enrolled in figure skating or in a theater studio, where all the girls will be crazy about him. And a boy with an anal-vocal ligament (like our hero's) should never be insulted (since the property of the anal vector is touchiness and good memory) and shout at him (since the sound vector gives a special sensitivity to sounds and especially negative meanings). But, on the contrary, it is necessary to rightly praise him for his successes, create a sound ecology for him at home and protect him from shouts and noise. At school, give tasks of an increased level of difficulty, and then such a child will love the school, not hate.

System-vector psychology allows you to find an individual approach to each child, without missing the main thing - his ability to live among other people.

What should parents do?

The school system will not be rebuilt by magic or by orders from above. Teachers will not suddenly become empathetic and understanding. It is clear that everyone has their own worries, work, business. But other people's children are people among whom our children will have to live. We will not be able to isolate our “good” from the “bad” of others.

Therefore, if you are a smart parent, you will teach your children at school to share candy and sandwiches, help each other with their studies, protect girls and kids, and be responsible for everything that happens at school. You will go to parent-teacher meetings and jointly come up with events not to entertain your beloved offspring even better, but to captivate them with something useful and interesting. You will help disadvantaged children in your class, rather than asking to transfer such a child to another school. You will begin to study system-vector psychology in order to finally learn to understand modern children.

Without our participation, the school will not make our children loving, understanding, kind, active, conscious and happy.

Stop looking for the guilty and scold the government. The sooner the attitude is established in our society that we do not have our own and other people's children, all children are ours, the greater our hope for a free and safe society for us and our children.
