The choice of the heir did not always meet the requirements of the state itself, giving it a narrowly focused development. Nobody thought about the people, building only a line of survival of a kind. Strangers were not allowed to power, it was not possible to introduce them to the throne by law. All sorts of bloody coups were used, and after some time the pattern of inheritance by blood was repeated.
The unified management of the state by inheritance - the monarchy - failed and led to negative results, but, legalized by the authorities, not the smartest children of their reformer parents sat on the throne.
If in the Western world the monarchy was eventually supplanted by the constitution or replaced by dual government and the royal court practically ceased to participate in the government, then in Russia, with its ancient traditions, part of the population to this day does not object to the reconstruction of monarchical power, looking for the Romanovs among the living "The third water on jelly". It doesn't matter what the new tsar or tsarina is ready to do for the ruined country, the main thing is that the newly made empress-mother sit on the throne.

The USSR collapsed, betrayed by its leaders, leaving the inhabitants of now independent states with a choice of how to live on. The forced necessity of building a new society in Russia dragged on for as long as 20 years. The Russians, having no other experience other than the way of life defined by 70 years of Soviet rule and absolutely misunderstood principles of Western democracy, rushed to change everything in a new manner.
There was already experience in how to “destroy the whole world”, but the forefathers, who called for political changes in 1917, and then built the communist state of the future from a population 90% illiterate, relied on the Russian urethral character and did not seek to adapt with / economic country under the skin of the Western mentality.
Created in 14 years from an agrarian country with a predominantly peasant population, a powerful industrial state that existed for almost three quarters of a century, providing each of its residents with free medicine, education, work and housing, have been trying to destroy the last 20 years, calling both perestroika and transition to new forms of government, and many other terms.
In the end, perestroika boiled down only to losses and total destruction of the national economy. And this is natural, because the values of the Western skin world will never become close to people with an urethral-muscular mentality, on the one hand, rejecting them, and on the other, trying to refract them according to their natural peculiarity. Will not work. You cannot graft something that is unnatural for nature. The Russians are against the law. He was never revered by them. Instead of the law, there has always been a vertical power that brings justice.

Only those who offend the people were afraid of the master's reprisals. The master is far away, and it is not known whether he will ever come at all, but everyday issues need to be resolved. This is where new relationships begin to be established between people, which today, along with corruption, are the most powerful anchor that hinders any positive changes in the country. The name of this brake is "nepotism".
The tradition of nepotism began when it became popular among monarchs to baptize the children of their servants. The tsars saw it as entertainment, and for commoners it was both a high honor and a direct material benefit, which boiled down to receiving expensivets, meaningful guarantees for godchildren. Baptized children actually became members of the royal family, and the ministry of the court kept the strictest record and control of godchildren and godchildren of the highest persons. The parent, whose children turned out to be the sovereign's godchildren, received such tangible benefits that there was no end to those who wanted to. The sovereign's name was received with an endless stream of petitions for participation in christenings.
The growing godchildren in the future were "provided with a favorable career start" and "education was paid at the expense of the royal family." Sensing their skin benefit-benefit, the enterprising servant of the nobility quickly adopted a tradition that lasted until 1917. After the revolution, all sorts of christenings with other religious rites and holidays were canceled, and in the early Soviet Union they were prohibited. Stalin declared war against any corruption and nepotism in the literal and figurative sense.
In the late Soviet Union, these traditions returned, they were consolidated, and in the post-perestroika period they, along with the same corruption, became the main regulator of relations in society.
The country does not get tired of living with an eye to the West, completely not realizing that Russians, having their own path, are unable to follow either Western or Eastern clichés.
How is this done in the West?
Nepotism in the religious sense of the word in the West is also widespread thanks to Christianity, but it does not give the right to "push" the godson up the career ladder. However, a number of countries, such as modern Italy or Greece, where the family values of the anal-muscular mentality are strong, just like the Russians, shamelessly use nepotism, becoming one of the most corrupt states in Europe.
In fact, family continuity, or dynasty, does not bear anything negative as long as it does not concern creative professions and management structures.
It is possible to produce products in a family contract, but it is impossible, without talent, to act in films only at the expense of mother's connections, and at the expense of father's - to lead the state or a company, knowingly leading it to a dead end.
Any entrepreneur will tell you that a home business is a guarantee of success. No one will frame, no one will steal, money is distributed among their own people, and only close people, connected by mutual family guarantee, know secrets and secrets.
And if the Russians choose the western path of the country's development, then it is necessary to know that the entire West lives and works according to a different principle. When the son, it turns out, is not able to take over the family business from his father, then someone from the outside is hired. Seeing the professionalism and interest of a stranger, he is given the reins of government along with the family know-how, because the task of the business owner is to preserve the enterprise in which a lot of effort and money has been invested, and not to destroy it. Europeans and Americans will never run a business at a loss for themselves, the responsibility is too great, not only personal, but also public, not to mention financial. But everything is in order.
In a nutshell, why finance?
Setting up your own business in the West is different from that in Russia. Western financial institutions and organizations, which are responsible for obtaining a permit for a particular activity, to a certain extent oblige to take loans from banks for investment and investing money in entrepreneurship.
Even an ordinary doctor who decides to open his own dental office will not shirk the need to take out a bank loan to pay for the premises and purchase or lease all the necessary equipment. Lending is one of the points of the business plan proposed for discussion with a specialist.
Here you can't ride on your own savings, all the more, consultants from an organization that issues patents and permits to start your own business will always ask where personal capital came from, how it was accumulated, from whom it was inherited, won in the lottery, or … received from a wealthy Eastern European uncle for their official washing.
As you know, anything happens in life, but the control and accounting of the Western skin society, which has the law in priority, is able to call into question any money and taxes that have fallen from the sky. Lending is necessary because an important rule in the movement of money is the principle that they must work and bring new money. This is how responsibility before the law develops.
Responsibility to society
The Russians have the responsibility brought up during the years of Soviet power, based on natural social shame as a control lever and one of the moral foundations of society, has been deliberately erased from consciousness. The reason for this is the deliberately false discrediting of it by the very same representatives of society, aimed at self-destruction in all ways: verbally, in writing, visually, mentally.
The deliberate rupture of the concept of "man and the state", falsification of what for most people for many decades was the value for which they gave their lives, worked. Leading to false thoughts about how you can be responsible to what is not, or to what was a myth. There is no longer a country, and the whole history of its existence was fiction.
Every second page on the Internet convinces the modern Russian that everything that happened after 1917 was sheer mythology and deception, and how Russia lived before the revolution is its true fate, allegedly broken and distorted by the Bolsheviks.
It cannot be denied that there are many positive features inherent in the character of the Russian people. For example, the trust that was shown to each other when making a deal with a handshake. It was a "merchant's word", which is stronger than any contract signed between partners, it sealed all the conditions.
This "merchant word" guaranteed responsibility to the society in which the merchant was. Naturally, in those distant times, there were archetypal leatherworkers who were ready to "throw a sucker", but not in such a quantity as today. Russia is big, and the deceiver had a place to hide, but today, on the contrary, all thieves run to the West in the hope that he will help. This is a big misconception. In a number of states of the Old World, even the adoption of citizenship does not make a defector a full-fledged citizen, such as their indigenous inhabitants are, and does not equalize him in rights with an ethnic resident.
To "throw a sucker" in the West means to deprive oneself of all contacts, existing and future. This means being isolated among entrepreneurs, partners and clients, not only yourself, but also endangering all your loved ones. In Russia, with its understanding of “family above all else”, you can find a brother, matchmaker or godfather who will help, support, push, hire or close a case started by the prosecutor's office. You can dissolve in its wide open spaces and continue to fool the simpletons.
Connections are everything
This concept is hammered into the head from an early age. And any ignoramus knows that no matter how his fate develops and wherever he gets involved, there will always be someone who will “pull him by the ears” or for big “dad's money” out of any blackest situation.
This is how it usually happens. Any offspring of a wealthy dad with connections can commit a crime with impunity, and he will get nothing for it, because the dad, who has a godfather in the police, and a brother in court, will otmash.
In Europe and the Americas, a young man learns from an early age to achieve everything with his work and mind. He, usually after adulthood, is pushed out of his home, in which there is a lot of wealth and in which he could live comfortably. But this wealth is not his merit, and therefore he must learn how to earn his living or study at the university.
Independence forms responsibility for himself and for the society in which he lives. The student understands that, having started to work, he is obliged to pay taxes and return the money borrowed from the state for the acquisition of knowledge. By deducting taxes, a Western citizen regulates relations with the state, receiving certain guarantees from it: domestic protection, social benefits, medical care and pension assistance.
With such support, any connections and nepotism are not only inappropriate, but also not foreseen. Everyone is responsible independently for any offense or crime committed: in the case of administrative punishment - with his own money, in the case of criminal liability - with his own freedom. Nobody wants to cover other people's sins. Moreover, it will not be possible to hide any cover. The media will spread this "good news" around the world.
Having committed a crime, you can try to hide, but the Western skin world is so small that any negative action automatically puts the deceiver on the "black lists" throughout the European continent and far beyond its borders, especially today, when all European borders, even between EU countries, have electronic control.
Former politicians who have received their "benefit-benefit", but have lost the trust of society, find themselves in isolation. Not daring to poke their noses into their homeland, these once public people hide in countries where they are not prosecuted for economic crimes committed against other states.
Western morality does not accept a statesman with a stolen candidate or doctoral dissertation. For such a deceiver, the family is often destroyed, the wife leaves, because she does not dare to appear in society because of what her husband has done. There is a marriage contract behind a divorce, sometimes capable of ruining a negligent citizen. His own children begin to be ashamed of him, and he is left alone.
But most importantly, in the Western world of individualists, everyone is responsible only for themselves. There is no collective mentality inherent in Russians with all its advantages aimed at the survival of the pack, with the disadvantages of nepotism and, in the worst sense of the word, nepotism.
Any advancement in the West "by pull" must give a guarantee to the "mover" that this "promoted" will be worthy of the place that he is supposed to take. If he turned out to be a fool and a loafer, then all responsibility for his mistakes falls on the one who recommended him. In the leather world, every job with its salary is valued in monetary terms, in the benefits and benefits brought to the company. Its prosperity is growing - the salaries of those who work in it are growing, investing their own efforts, and not being listed as an employee or sitting out working hours playing cards with the computer.
There is one more interesting detail that allows you to compare the two systems: Western and Russian. If you conduct a certain monitoring of activity on the Internet, then it is easy to track that it is during working hours that the largest influx of visitors on social networks in Russia falls. In Western companies, being on the Web is strictly regulated by a specific topic and is used only within the framework of work.
To avoid temptation, many businesses block employees from accessing the Internet, limiting themselves to a few sites.
The principle of nepotism, which flourished in recent years, reveals all the insolvency and further emphasizes the corruption of the local government system, creates Russia a reputation as a third-rate kleptocratic state ("the rule of thieves") on a par with the poorest countries in South America. In external relations, corruption and nepotism form the most negative image of the state and its people, and also erode from the inside, creating a real threat to the country's national security.
How to help yourself, what to do?
Russia, according to the peculiarities of most of the natural landscape that is practically unacceptable for life, over the centuries has been building a structure of power along a vertical type.
The character traits of Russians brought up in the hardships and difficulties of survival are capable of accepting only a powerful state power, what the people call a "strong hand." All attempts to reach an agreement with the Russians in a skin-to-skin manner, that is, at the level of the law, do not lead to success. Russians are not predisposed and are not accustomed to the law, and therefore even the most developed leather-legislator will never be honored by them.
There are even in Russian literature many examples of how a practical and business person, as a rule, of a different nationality, was ridiculed and insulted in every possible way only for his ability and desire to serve the letter of the law or economically and competently run a household.
And today, having gotten rid of the oppression of the Soviet regime, former Soviet citizens dream of building their capitalism in a Western way “in a separate country”, but at the same time they are not ready to put up with the special behavior and thrifty attitude to money, primarily the inhabitants of Europe and America.
On the one hand, Russians dream of living as in the West, and on the other, they deny all Western canons and values on which the Western world is based. This is the strongest contradiction that prevents Russians from earning decent money, living in peace, if not rich, then at least comfortably, relying on their own Russian mentality, which does not need to be broken, but only to do, understand and accept.
