During the Great Patriotic War, about a million women, at the call of their hearts and out of a sense of duty, went to the front. They served in the army in almost all types of troops and in a short time became scouts, radio operators, pilots, nurses, snipers, medical technicians, sappers, drivers, tank crews and sailors.
They, along with men, on the great fiery line of confrontation between Good and Evil, defended our Motherland from the brown plague of the twentieth century, won a merciless war. They carried the fighters on their fragile girlish shoulders from the battlefield, healed their severe wounds in hospitals and ambulance trains, saved the lives of millions of soldiers and officers, returning home foreign fathers, sons, husbands and brothers.
It is said that the war is not over until the last soldier is buried. The Great Patriotic War recedes with the passage of time, and only the people's memory, guided by urethral justice, does not allow forgetting the sacred years 1941-1945.

The Red Army was retreating from the western borders of the Soviet Union, and the girls were eager to join the army, confident that with their arrival the situation would immediately change and the war would end.
The military commissars patiently explained that working hands were also needed in the rear, or they drove them in three necks, but the students were not such people. They came again and again, pounded the doorsteps of military enlistment offices with the request: "Take wherever you want!"
On June 30, 1941, the Council of People's Commissars issued a decree allowing women to serve in the Red Army.

From the memoirs of WWII veterans, it is known that in Ufa, about 30 kindergarten teachers, organized themselves into a detachment and volunteered to go to the front.
