The series "Brigade". How one film influenced the criminal situation in our country
The Brigada series was positioned as a "Russian gangster saga". Why? After all, we have bandits in Russia, not some American gangsters. In this positioning, there is a reference to the films The Godfather and Once Upon a Time in America, which have become classics of cinema. According to the director of the film Alexei Sidorov, these films served as a reference point for him in the course of the creation of the Brigada series.
More than ten years have passed since the release of the serial film "Brigade" on Russian screens (it was released in 2002). Today this series is called cult. What is the reason for his extraordinary popularity with viewers, and what influence did he have on the development of our society? Today, years later, we already know the exact answer what this series was for our country, what effect it had on the development of crime and the rule of law in modern Russia. The most accurate analysis of the film, the reasons for its popularity and the consequences of its release on the screens will help us to make the System-Vector Psychology of Yuri Burlan.
The gang and its leader
The events depicted in the film cover the period from 1989 to 2000. In the center of the plot is the story of a criminal gang of four best friends. Once they cross the line, these guys turn into criminals. Having started to make their way in the criminal world, they turn into one of the most united and influential gangs …
How many of them were there, these criminal groups, in post-Soviet Russia? Their life was short - usually they disappeared as quickly as they appeared: their members either died during raids or showdowns with other gangs, or they quickly came across and served time, or quarreled among themselves and fled. However, the gang shown in the film is special.
What explains the strength and invulnerability of this group? The presence of a nucleus that attracts and with incredible power keeps the gang members around it. Such a nucleus was Alexander Belov, nicknamed Sasha Bely. System-vector psychology helps to see and understand the phenomenon of the “natural leader” that was shown in the film.
One for all and all for one
The nucleus of the pack, around which all the others revolve, can only be a person with a urethral vector. Such a person possesses rare and unique properties of his psyche - the ability to bestow, instant reaction, fearlessness, extraordinary life force. These properties provide him with the main role in the pack - the role of the leader, for whom his pack is more important than himself. His own adore him, others hate and fear him.
The film shows that friends were ready for anything for their leader. He was also ready to gnaw his throat for them. Sasha Bely's brigade is always with him, his friends never leave him, despite the occasional disagreements. The vow they made in their youth to each other is not broken until the very end. But the enemies hate and are very afraid of Sasha, they call him "the wolf."
Only the urethral leader possesses unconventional, ultra-fast thinking. Instantly comes up with a way out of any situation. As a bandit, he implements schemes that bring in millions. And he does not regret losing everything, if the case turned against his wishes - and no money was lost. Takes difficult decisions without undue hesitation and hesitation. He takes full responsibility for the flock.
He is never afraid of anything. He takes the most risky steps and gets out of any situation safe and sound, thanks to non-standard thinking and desperate courage. What causes respect even from enemies.
Sasha Bely evokes admiration for the breadth of his soul, generosity, and the desire to always help. And what an onslaught, energy, lack of framework! All these are urethral qualities - the qualities of a real leader, especially close to the heart of the Russian person.
The Musketeers Reverse
Sasha Bely's friends are his faithful "squires". They unconditionally believe in their leader, make his decisions and are ready to follow him at any moment - even into fire, even into water. This is possible only if a natural leader is at the head of the pack. After all, the unconscious cannot be deceived by external entourage, empty show-off, behind which there is nothing.
But only the brigade is “the three Musketeers in reverse”. Such extraordinary qualities as quick thinking, courage, irrepressible vital energy and pressure, sweeping away everything in its path, were given to the natural leader for a reason. All these qualities are necessary in order to ensure the survival of your flock and its breakthrough into the future.
If the urethral leader stands at the head of a healthy team, he will ensure a rapid forward movement in the right direction. Such a collective will be close-knit, a natural hierarchy will be established in it, ideas of justice and mercy will flourish, and collective work will be directed to the benefit of the whole society.
However, in the White brigade, all the best that is in the urethral vector is turned upside down. When the urethral leader takes the path of crime, he uses his properties "for other purposes." The urethral criminal puts together an invincible gang, using his gift of a leader not for the good, but for the evil of society.
The actor and his hero
It is impossible not to mention the importance of the actor Sergei Bezrukov in the success of the film "Brigade". This is that amazing case when there was a coincidence of the innate vector properties of the actor and the protagonist: urethral Sergei Bezrukov unmistakably and to goosebumps realistically played the urethral Sasha Bely. It turned out so organically that you believe in the reality of this story, that the heroes of the film actually exist.
Bezrukov's game simply conquers. All his many fans watched this series with gusto and extraordinary interest. The release of the film on the screens made the actor truly famous, giving him extraordinary popularity.
They say that after the "Brigade" in many roles of Sergei Bezrukov, critics see the features of Sasha Bely, played by the actor in the series. And only the system-vector psychology of Yuri Burlan can explain this phenomenon: this is not a repetition by the actor of some once found and worked out cliches, these are urethral features of the actor himself, which involuntarily manifest themselves in the roles he played. This is all the more obvious when he plays the same owners of the urethral vector, like himself - Pushkin, Yesenin, Christ.
And how does the actor himself feel about the bandit he played? He is credited with saying that he considers his role in The Brigade a dark line in his biography, and he is ashamed to remember this role. However, he admits that the popularity of this film has opened doors that were closed before and helped in the implementation of many wonderful creative projects.
Brigade. Once in Russia
Is this good or bad? The fact is that all these pictures are similar in one thing - the romanticization of crime. Someone will object: "What's wrong with that?" In childhood, we all read romantic stories about Robin Hood, but he, too, was, in fact, marginalized and broke the law. But in this case we are not dealing with an old legend, but with tracing paper from our life, which is almost impossible to distinguish from reality. It is precisely its realism that the film had such a strong influence on the consciousness of contemporaries.
With the collapse of the USSR, the developed culture of Soviet society was devalued and meaningless, the archetypal skin values “my house is on the edge”, “after me, even a flood” came to the fore. Thieves and criminals rose from the bottom of society to the very top. Those who had previously received only contempt and punished for their crimes suddenly became the top of society. But it was the film "Brigade" that made them an object of imitation.
The thugs romanticism, inspired by millions of Russians by the film "Brigade", became the final chord in the destruction of the moral and ethical core of society. It became easier for us to steal, throw a sucker and even kill. A romantic image of a criminal has emerged, whose main goal is to get it at any cost. The fact that society willingly swallowed this poison is evidenced by the huge box office receipts of The Godfather, and the success and popularity of the film The Brigade.
When the power of art backfires
Man is a complex creature. On the one hand, the beast still lives in us. Our animal nature makes us violent and merciless at times, especially when it comes to survival. On the other hand, we have a purely human component - kindness, empathy, compassion.
The main role of culture is to remove hostility between people. Culture fosters human qualities in us, which are manifested in the form of a kind attitude towards people and the whole world, and in their maximum manifestation are expressed in the form of compassion, mutual assistance, mercy.
Art is part of culture. Cinema is an art form. Called to sow the eternal and good, cinema nevertheless presents different products to its viewers. The spectacular art form has a very strong impact on the audience. It's good if this influence is positive. And if not?
This happened with the anti-cultural film "Brigade". The point is not even that, having seen enough of the cute bandit friends, whose criminal motives and actions were justified in the film, many young people decided to follow in their footsteps, taking them as a role model. The problem is much more serious, sympathizing with the bandits in the movies, we justify the crime and contribute to its growth. Thus, the film did not bring down, but on the contrary, increased the degree of hostility in the society, which was already shaking in the fever of historical cataclysms.
Reasons for popularity - at the right time in the right place
How to explain the phenomenon of the extraordinary popularity of the TV series "Brigade"? There are several reasons on the surface. This is a high-quality work of filmmakers, and a high budget for the film, and an excellent cast. However, since then a lot of TV series based on crime stories - expensive, high-quality, with excellent actors - have been filmed, but none of them has been able to repeat the success of The Brigade. The system-vector psychology of Yuri Burlan again helps to explain this phenomenon.
The "Dashing 90s" was a period when the feeling of security and safety was lost by almost everyone. Nevertheless, the need for a sense of security and safety is basic, without this it is impossible to live and work normally, be creative and raise children. After the collapse of the USSR, not only did the censorship, which for many years were the faithful guardian of the mental health of our society, disappeared - the previous moral guidelines were lost. Society has a demand for new values. For many, it was the film "Brigade" that "gave answers" to their questions, set new guidelines. Unfortunately, these landmarks were false and directed in the wrong direction …
There is another reason for the popularity of the "Brigade" - our unique urethral-muscular mentality. For people with urethral mentality, the image of the urethral leader is always unusually attractive, because it meets deep inner ideas and requests. That is why the image of Sasha Bely is so sympathetic to any Russian heart.
Thieves' raspberries or the State Duma?
The criminal's place is at the bottom of society, and not in the highest echelons of power. Therefore, the creation of this film had grave consequences for the entire society of post-Soviet Russia. The collapse of the USSR was a fatal blow for us - when one day we lost our country. The most difficult moment in history has come. And here in the consciousness of the society, which was trying with the last bit of strength to recover from the blow and survive, a harmful virus of wrong landmarks was implanted.
Thus, the consciousness of society has changed towards justifying the actions of criminals. After all, the film "Brigade" shows what these gangsters are in fact "good guys", just "life turned out that way." To skip such a movie for mass viewing is like finishing off a wounded man. As the film "Intergirl" dealt a tangible blow to the morality of the female half of society, the series "Brigade" contributed to the reformatting of the consciousness of the male half of the population and the growth of crime in our country.
Thank God, not everyone became bandits. A person always, regardless of the most difficult life circumstances, has freedom of choice and will. Today our society is slowly recovering from the blows of history and moving forward. "Gangster 90s" are a thing of the past. The state is making colossal efforts to curb the rampant crime. Slowly, in small steps, we are developing into a legal society. And today it is quite obvious that a criminal should be at the bottom of society - there and only there he belongs: thieves' raspberries or the den of a recidivist who is on the run, but not the State Duma!
How the predictions came true
I must say that immediately after the release of the film "Brigade" was severely criticized. The authors of the film were reproached for the fact that the "Brigade" too romanticizes banditry and relations between members of the criminal community. By showing overly attractive images of criminals, audiences, especially young audiences, seem to be encouraged to imitate those images.
Unfortunately, the predictions of the critics of the series were completely justified … After the "Brigade" impressionable teenagers formed their own yard gangs and committed crimes that might not have happened. At the courts, the criminals directly stated that they were "inspired" by the television series "Brigade" to commit crimes.
Perhaps the most striking example of the influence of this series on fate can be the story of Leonid Sidorov, the son of the director of the series. As a difficult teenager, at the height of the Brigade's popularity, he formed a gang, and as a result was sentenced to 13 years in prison for robbery, double murder and rape.
The end of the film
The film's ending itself is far from optimistic: three out of four friends are killed, and Alexander Belov “goes underground,” regretting the path he had chosen, because of which he lost everything. Alas, even the tragic end of the film did not make you think, did not discourage the young guys from repeating the path of the main characters of the series …
Almost a decade after the film's release, Brigade 2 was filmed. But Sasha Bely was no longer in it, although, most likely, the creators of the series planned a sequel, since the main character was saved. Perhaps they realized what exactly they did, and the mind still prevailed.
