Prevention of suicide in children and adolescents
Today, Russian teachers are obliged to prescribe the so-called suicide prevention. It includes class hours, parent meetings on this topic. At the same time, the class teacher has to reinvent the wheel himself - to search the Internet for information about suicide and come up with something to talk about to children and their parents.
When we were in school, the word SUICID did not even sound within the school walls, and new reports of child suicide did not appear in the news bulletins every day. Today, Russian teachers are obliged to prescribe so-called suicide prevention in the educational plan for working with students. It includes class hours, parent meetings on this topic. At the same time, the class teacher has to reinvent the wheel himself - to look for information about suicide on the Internet and come up with what to talk about to children and their parents.
Another common option is to write "for show" in clever language topics that delight the inspectors of various authorities, and then forget about the prevention of suicide. And, oddly enough, the second option is preferable, because it is better to remain silent than to "enlighten" children and parents, having picked up psychological knowledge at the top. The main principle of pedagogy “do no harm” has not been canceled.
If you are reading this article because you are really worried about the current situation and your vulnerability to the phenomenon of child suicide, then thanks to this article you will receive answers for the first time. And let it sound very bold.
Why the word suicide sounds so often
According to statistics, over the past decade, the number of suicides among young people has tripled. Every year in Russia every twelfth teenager tries to commit suicide.
It is clear that such figures cannot leave the public indifferent. Sociologists conduct research and try to identify the general patterns of teenage suicide. Psychologists are looking for an answer: why adolescents, being in a flourishing age, when their whole life is still ahead, so easily say goodbye to her.
The classic causes of suicide are: conflicts with parents and peers, loneliness, unrequited love, fear of the future, depression. The chief psychiatrist of Russia, Zurab Kekelidze, calls the uncontrolled use of the Internet by children a significant reason for teenage suicides. Parents often do not even know that their child "hangs" on suicidal sites, studying detailed information about the methods of suicide and the feelings that can be experienced by choosing one of them. Impressed by the information received, without fully understanding what he is doing, the child chooses to commit suicide.
The World Health Organization names 800 reasons for suicide, while in 41% of cases the reasons remain unknown. It is also unclear why some of the adolescents are prone to depressive states, and some are not, why for someone the reason to part with life is a conflict with parents and with peers, and for someone - unrequited love.
However, one cannot fail to notice that all the efforts of psychologists, sociologists, research of various major organizations with the involvement of the largest funds do not yield results. The suicide statistics are not only not decreasing, but, on the contrary, are steadily and at an alarming rate going up.
Our children choose NOT to LIVE. And we must admit that today we have no idea why this is happening.
Life itself tells us that in most cases future suicides are quite ordinary children and few people around them see potential suicides in them. So do parents and teachers really have to rely on chance and hope that trouble will bypass them?
On the other side of life
Even the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, introduced the concept of "death instinct", implying a person's desire for self-destruction. He assumed that this instinct is inherent in humans from birth. Only a person, unlike other living beings on Earth, is capable of self-destruction.
Yuri Burlan at the training "System-vector psychology" shows that only people born with such a mental structure, in which spiritual values are decisive, are capable of suicide, only those for whom the meaning of life does not lie in the plane of the material world. System-vector psychology defines them as the owners of the sound vector.
Sound children are initially different from others. They are quiet, introverted, loving silence, flinching at loud noises. The noise gives them psychological discomfort. Since childhood, they periodically "sink" deep into themselves, thinking about something and freezing with an absent deep look. They are still very young people who ask questions about why a person lives, where he came from, and whether there is something out there in heaven. In the future, the unconscious search for answers to questions about the meaning of life, about the structure of the Universe, about the human soul will become decisive for them.
The stimuli that usually work with other children just don't work with sound people. All "must" will be broken on the categorical "why?", "For what?". Often such children do not understand why to study, why go somewhere and do something. Usually the offered values - prestigious education, apartments, cars, mansions abroad, love, starting a family - are rejected by the sound specialists, which makes the parents exclaim in surprise: “What do you want? What is it all about you? Are you mad about fat?"
Unconsciously, such children experience great internal stress from the lack of meaning in what is happening. Young sound musicians in a high temperament, and modern children are almost all born with a high temperament, from childhood they begin to experience such an inescapable shortage, such a huge emptiness that 50-year-old adults who have seen life do not experience. Sound children of the 21st century look at this world with a non-childish look full of inescapable longing and emptiness. This is the first generation of children in which we can talk about mass depression in adolescents.
Being not connected with the outside world by their value orientations, they do not feel the value of life as such, on the contrary, it is often perceived by them as UNLIFE, and the physical body as a prison for the soul …
Better prevention
It is a waste of time to talk with a child about suicidal topics, to analyze in detail the cases of suicide of adolescents from life, to read lectures, to describe the suffering of loved ones of a suicide. Unless you want to advertise suicide. Notations and fiery speeches of teachers will not convince the sound specialists, will not satisfy their true desires, will not remove the deep reasons pushing them to suicide.
But visual children, emotional, receptive by nature, oh, how impressed by this. And they may even begin to resort to the threat of suicide as a way of emotional blackmail, such as "Don't give an A - I'll jump out the window!"
Any standard means of "prevention" will not work and cannot work, because they are developed blindly, without understanding the true background of the phenomenon of suicide. And the rationale is that no external factors are the cause of suicide. The reason for the massive childhood and adolescent suicide that we are seeing today lies inside, in our unconscious.
Suicide prevention (from the point of view of system-vector psychology) is not easy, but 100% effective work. Your child will never fly down the window unless there is a gaping lack of meaning inside.
In order to prevent the very possibility of suicide, you need:
1. Know and understand the features of the sound vector
2. Be able to distinguish the sound vector
3. Know how to properly raise sound children
This knowledge can be obtained by any parent in just three lectures on the sound vector. This knowledge is invaluable because it saves lives.
