In 1920, Marina wrote a poem widely known today "Under the caress of a plush blanket …". The original title of the poem "Error", and only 20 years later Tsvetaeva will rename it to the neutral "Girlfriend". The poem is dedicated to Parnok.

Marina did not recoil in sanctimonious horror, did not go into hysterics. Sofia did not have enough love, Marina generously gave her friend love. Their relationship did not last long, but until the end of her days, Parnok kept a photograph of Marina on the table. The break in relations with Sofia was inevitable. Marina remains in Moscow. “If God does a miracle - he leaves you alive, I will follow you like a dog,” she writes in a letter to her husband at the front.

These lines are written about Mandelstam. Marina devoted several days in Moscow and eleven poems to him. Tsvetaeva gave her City crazy to the poet in love with her.
