Nepotism and corruption. Part 1. Russia in intensive care
The question arises, why invest in a society in which chaos and theft flourish,
why make an effort and work when they will steal anyway?
Part 2. Nepotism and corruption. Reverse irreversible
Corruption and nepotism are two of the most painful problems in Russian society. When another corruption scandal breaks out in the highest echelons of power, when a talented person does not break through, because all the places are occupied by relatives of those who previously managed to occupy a "warm place", trust in society and the state is lost, the desire to do something goes away. “Get out of this Rashi faster, everything is different over the hill,” some exclaim. - In Russia they have always stolen and they will steal. It is ineradicable."
However, before deciding on such a radical step, it is important to understand the psychological and historical roots of the problem of corruption and nepotism in our country. You will not only learn a lot of new things for yourself, but also completely get rid of the desire to leave your homeland for the sake of a hazy future abroad. Russia is a country of great opportunities.
Multi-headed dragon
Corruption in Russia did not appear today or even yesterday. We can say that she is a byproduct of our urethral-muscular mentality, which at its best gives Russian people the qualities - unlimited, generosity, breadth of soul, responsibility for oneself and for another, and many other beautiful features. But due to the same mentality, Russian people do not perceive the law. In our worldview, justice and mercy are above the law.
Such a mental device is completely opposite to the values of the skin vector, which gives a person the ability to obey restrictions, the desire for calculation and economy, makes him naturally value and observe the law and respect personal property. Thus, conditions for the successful development of the skin vector are not formed in Russia, but the prerequisites for negative skin manifestations are formed: theft and corruption - a black hole in the Russian mentality.
That is why the urethral Peter I was still facing a dilemma - to execute the country's main corrupt official, Menshikov, or to leave him in power. He understood that if he removed him "from the trough", others would come in his place. Corruption is not just bribery with a specific action. This is a multi-headed dragon - you cut off one head, two new ones immediately grow: others come to the place of one thief. Corruption is a psychological problem, it is in the minds of Russian people.
When there was no corruption and nepotism
In the early USSR, there was no corruption or nepotism. The communist idea of the priority of the public over the personal, of building a just society of equal opportunities for all, laid in the foundation of the Soviet state, was consonant with our urethral mentality. The vertical of power, fair distribution of benefits from top to bottom, real care for all strata of society created complete confidence in the state. Everyone could realize all their abilities for the good of the Motherland.
The course towards the industrialization of the country forced the leadership to pay increased attention to the development of representatives of the skin vector. The education system trained brilliant engineers, inventors, which is the highest level of development and implementation of the skin vector. An advanced skinner cannot be a thief. A very narrow layer of skin losers, podzaborny drunkards did not determine the situation in the country. There was nothing to base corruption on.
It was also the case with nepotism. Joseph Stalin would now look like a bad father, because he did not exchange his eldest son, captured, for the German general Paulus, he did not "otmazy" the younger from the army, and did not leave a dime for his daughter after his death. For him, the survival of the people and the preservation of the state were more important than family ties.
In the Soviet Union, the children of teachers at school never received an A from their parents, because they were ashamed to single out their own, even if they objectively knew the subject perfectly.
Family, blood ties, traditions, dynasties - all these are the values of the anal vector, which was in a healthy state in the Soviet state. This was the anal phase of human development, favorable for representatives of the anal vector. The anal and urethral vectors are complementary, complement each other, therefore, the values of the anal vector find support in the urethral mentality.
In the Soviet state, all the children were ours, no one stood out. Everyone used a well-oiled system of social lifts, when even a child from the lowest strata of the population could rise to the highest positions in the state - there would be abilities. Everyone could make an effort, learn, prove themselves.
At the head of the state were talented, strong leaders who were not afraid to surround themselves with the same talented specialists. They didn't take a dime for themselves. People saw this and felt themselves under the protection of the authorities, so the society was mentally healthy. When crime reigned in Western society, there were no social psychopathologies in the USSR. Therefore, people loved their homeland so much and so selflessly gave their lives on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
At the break of time
However, during the Khrushchev Thaw, society began to gradually lose the main idea of the socialist state, the urethral values of bestowal, the priority of the public over the personal. After the Second World War, the world has already moved to a new phase of its development - the skin phase, to a consumer society, in which material success has become the highest value. The USSR still lived according to the principles of the historical phase, however, in connection with what happened at the XX Congress, our ideology began to change, and the germs of corruption and nepotism reappeared.
A stratum of nomenclature began to form, in which positions were inherited. High posts were often occupied by incompetent leaders on a kinship basis, who did not give way to gifted people. Many inventors went around the chain of command in an effort to put into practice the inventions needed by society, but they ran into a blank wall of nomenclature.
Against the background of the weakening of urethral values, the developed owners of the skin vector began to lose motivation for implementation, archetypal, undeveloped skin began to raise its head. Farmers appeared, trading in deficit from under the counter. Nesuns massively plundered public property. They covered themselves with a false statement that "when everything is common, you don't seem to steal, but you take your own." Bribery again began to flourish among the bureaucracy.
In the 90s, after the collapse of the USSR, corruption and nepotism swept over the country with renewed vigor. It was the most difficult period in the life of our state, when the final transition from the anal phase of human development to the skin phase took place. We have not just passed into a new time with new values of the consumer society. We lost the state, whose idea was consonant with our mentality.
This hit both the owners of the skin and the representatives of the anal vector. Underdeveloped owners of the skin vector, as well as people with a weak cultural superstructure, adapted the fastest of all, all the more so in the general chaos they were no longer held back. Extreme individualism, the desire to earn at any cost and consume as much as possible - these are the desires of a not very developed person with a skin vector. And all the archetypal skin rushed to realize these desires, which had previously been condemned and had to hide its activity, which was incompatible with the image of a Soviet person. Now she could act openly.
In fact, there is nothing wrong with skin values when they are the values of a developed skin person. After all, in order to consume something, you must first create something. Developed leather workers are technologies and inventions, this is healthy competition in which the strongest and the best wins, this is law and order that protect the results of honest work, provide a sense of security and safety for the whole society.
But in Russia, the general slogans and guidelines were not law and order, technology and competition, but archetypal (undeveloped) schemes: "throw a sucker", "find a hole in the law", "figure out how to avoid taxes, give a kickback, withdraw funds into offshore zones ". The racketeering that appeared in the 90s is also a “scheme of work” in essence of a bandit group that operates according to a primitive principle.
People saw that the one who bypasses the law, who acts like a bandit, is full and dressed. Everything turned upside down. First of all, in our minds, in our head. We did not understand what was happening, we tried to fit in, survive, adapting false archetypal landmarks and attitudes.
The owners of the anal vector experienced a real disaster in the 90s. Society has entered a period of values diametrically opposed to their perception of the world. A lot of professionals with an anal vector, who had honor and respect in the Soviet state, were thrown out into the street, went to trade in the markets, that is, to do something that is deeply repugnant to them. The wave of heart attacks claimed thousands of lives of the owners of the anal vector.
Massively dissatisfied in their unrealization, frustrated, they sought to surround themselves with family ties in order to ease the burden of the new time, creating another barrier for talented scientists and competent specialists to realize. Because of this, the country lost a part of the population that could have shown itself in science, technology, social and cultural life, but left for the West, where there were other opportunities. There was a so-called "brain drain". The authorities did not have people who could make the country's transition to the cutaneous phase softer.
Nepotism and corruption today - what is the danger?
What do we have now? Nepotism is a disgusting phenomenon, especially widespread in the government and among the creative and scientific intelligentsia. In cinematography, we see entire artistic dynasties. In science, the relatives of academicians receive titles and regalia. But talent is not inherited, and truly talented youth often cannot break through.
Today we live in the skin phase of human development with its individualistic values, which are opposite to the collectivist Russian mentality. We understand these values perversely and do not realize our mental component. Our landmarks are confused. This is why social psychopathologies flourish. If a plant is transplanted into an unsuitable soil for it, it will die. In terms of form, we live in the same country, but in terms of content, it is already different. And if you do not take any measures to combat corruption and nepotism, this can lead to the collapse of society and the state.
After all, not only is it scary that they steal. It is terrible that the people see how the judge, called upon to protect any citizen through the law, does not observe the law itself and shamelessly participates in the robbery. Watching the weddings of millions of relatives of abducted judges, children of officials studying in London, people lose their sense of security and safety from the state, motivation for honest, conscientious work. The question arises, why invest in a society in which chaos and theft flourish, why make an effort and work when they will steal anyway?
People come into business with the best intentions, and they are forced to either find themselves in a situation in which bribes and kickbacks are normal practice, or to leave their life's work. Honest business seems like an unattainable ideal in Russia.
Nepotism causes apathy among the population from the impossibility of realizing. Talented people go abroad, but most give up and become sofa-sitters. On this basis, frustrations arise in the population like an avalanche, hostility, family violence, and the number of suicides are growing. There are more and more psychopathologies. Corruption and nepotism are the internal enemies of the state, capable of destroying it.
But, on the other hand, we also participate in what is happening. It is not only the authorities who are to blame. The idea of nepotism is so deeply rooted in our heads that we condemn corruption and nepotism is not considered shameful. We drag our children and relatives to profitable positions and do not consider it shameful. Our cretin is dearer to us than someone else's genius.
Corruption is in our heads
But corruption is not outside us, we, members of society, create it as we are. Corruption is in our heads. Someone steals openly and deliberately, for example, by unwinding the counter, and someone does not even realize that they are stealing, for example, downloading pirated copies of a video.
We are honest, while poor, but as soon as we reach power, we become bribe-takers in the same way as our predecessors. No matter how honest a person may be, passing through the echelons of power and reaching the top, he becomes a corrupt official. Being a part of a system where the law is not a constraint, and the shame that regulates social relations is largely lost, a person is less able to realize his best qualities.
