Vladimir Mayakovsky. The Queen of Spades of Soviet literature and the patroness of talents. Part 3
She came - in a businesslike manner, for a growl, for growth, glancing, she saw just a boy. She took it, took away her heart and just went to play - like a girl with a ball.
Part 1 ─ Part 2
The famous poet Vladimir Mayakovsky recognized in St. Petersburg for several years has been seeking the love of a woman he met and, like no one else, understood his poetry. In visual emotional swings, he even tries to blackmail her with suicide if she does not respond to his feelings. In 1916, he still plays Russian Roulette.
She came - in a businesslike manner, for a growl, for growth, glancing, she saw just a boy. She took it, took away her heart and just went to play - like a girl with a ball.
The relationship that arose with Lilya Brik and lasted more than 12 years is the natural relationship between the urethral poet and his skin-visual muse. The only thing that makes them unusual is the participation of the Axis Brick in the "triple alliance."
The three of us fit perfectly into the new communist reality. The relationship between Lily Brik and Mayakovsky, who were in an unregistered relationship, had an actual form of marriage, in legal terms - cohabitation, which in those years was not surprising to anyone. People met, fell in love, came under one roof, lived as long as their attraction to each other kept them, and reacted to any jealousy as to a philistine relic.
The reorganization of the old world left its mark on the family, which had to be built on a new model. All traditional patriarchal systems of relations have collapsed. For the sake of preserving the health of women and the fight against clandestine abortions, which annually claim thousands of women's lives or make them disabled, Alexandra Kollontai is seeking the legalization of abortion, and divorce is becoming commonplace.
The catch phrase that there was no sex in the USSR, to put it mildly, is incorrect and smacks of cunning. By the way, the authorship of this phrase is attributed to Yekaterina Furtseva, the fourth minister of culture, whose youth fell on the destruction of the old socio-political system with its dogmas and house-building, herself more than once in unregistered marriage. And who, if not her, should know that young people, engulfed in the flames of the revolution and the ideas of building a new life, sometimes looked for a secluded place not only to read Marx's Capital together. Both personal relationships and the most intimate parts of the body were demonstratively displayed. An example of this was the nudist parades held in Moscow and Petrograd under the slogan “Down with shame”.
Lenin's predictions about the approach of a revolution in the field of marriage, the old forms of which do not give satisfaction, were consonant with the predictions of a proletarian revolution. In fact, in 1917, there were two revolutions in Russia: bourgeois and sexual. The Bolsheviks provided Russian women with such rights and freedoms that their Western friends never dreamed of, and to which they, exciting decent burgher minds with mini-skirts and shocking one-story America and Western Europe with anti-war hippies' calls for love against war, will approach only by the beginning of the 60s. x.
The Russians, with their unlimited urethral mentality on the principle of "all or nothing", often brought any decree adopted in Petrograd, and after 1919 in Moscow, to the point of complete absurdity. Each of the chairmen of local councils, those who were entrusted with the implementation of the decisions of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, understood their texts in their own way, through the prism and development of the properties of their own bunch of vectors.
Often Lenin's decrees "On civil marriage …" and "On dissolution of marriage" entailed provincial Sovdep resolutions on "Cancellation of the right of private ownership of women who have reached the age of 17 to 32 years" or orders that "every girl who has reached 18 years old and not married, is obliged, on pain of severe punishment and punishment, to register with the Bureau of Free Love. Registered in the Bureau of Free Love is given the right to choose a man between the ages of 19 and 50 to be a cohabitant-spouse."
“Shyness in relations between the sexes is a consequence of the distortion of everything normal and healthy. First of all, you need to free people from their clothes. First, you need to teach people to walk in only shorts, and then without anything at all, "- an unusually systemic text of the society program" Down with shame ", which could only be composed by a person with a skin-visual bundle of vectors. In 1928, 10 thousand people took part in the march of radical nudists, and was headed by the head of the Central European department of the commissariat for foreign affairs, a member of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, Polish communist comrade Karl Radek. The "rebellion of sensuality" and the freedom of sexual relations marked the first decade after the end of the Civil War.
The life of the three did not bother Brikov at all, and the poet himself. By mutual agreement, they continued to be a family, even after Lilya got bored with Volodya's love and she set off on a free voyage in search of another love. And yet there is every reason to believe that a star named Vladimir Mayakovsky was lit by Lilya Brik. Nora Polonskaya wrote: "Mayakovsky told me that he wanted to shoot himself twice because of her, once he shot himself in the heart, but there was a misfire."
Anal-visual Osip Maksimovich, long ago accepting the conditions of the game set by his wife, warned Volodya in a timely manner: “Lilya is an element, this must be taken into account. You cannot stop rain or snow at will."
A nulliparous visual skin woman in a state of "war": with full war paint, desirable for everyone, spreading pheromones, attracting and alluring. Lilya Yurievna Brik remained this way even in extreme old age. Biographers and researchers of Mayakovsky's work inevitably connect both of these names, each giving his own assessment of her behavior and influence on the poet. Some call her a muse, others a bitch.
And yet she is a muse, inspiring and guiding her urethral leader Vladimir Mayakovsky to literary exploits. If the Brik family had not been in the life of Vladimir Vladimirovich, with their certain freedom of sexual behavior, a deep understanding of his talent and even mercantile interests, the world would not have learned about the great Soviet poet who connected continents with one word only, he would not have entered the history of the world literature and art.
Ivan Bunin wrote that Osip Brik is “an extremely intelligent and perceptive person, he could not help but understand: it is unlikely that she would make a good wife. By the time Mayakovsky's love fell on Lilya, she had long since lost her marital virtue, which Osip knew very well. To this woman he was tied to something completely different. By his own admission, Brick, he admired her insane thirst for life, he needed her rare ability to turn everyday life into a holiday. In addition, Osip and Lilya were united by a common passion: both of them enthusiastically collected talents, feeling God'st in a person as unmistakably as a good hound - a necessary trace.
Mayakovsky's love poems, which were hidden from the reader's eyes for so long, trying to preserve the image of a revolutionary herald for one of the most lyrical Russian Soviet poets, with rare exceptions, are dedicated to Lilya Yuryevna. For Mayakovsky the poet, the image of a woman is a collective one, combined from many. For him there is no division, each of the women he met, to a certain extent, becomes a muse for him, only one and only one hovers above all of them.
Even behind what was written for other women, there is a shadow of Lily Brik - as the muse herself explained, moving Vladimir away and closer to herself, she kept his inspiration in good shape.
The relationship between the poet and his muse Lily Brik evolved in different ways in different years. They experienced ups and downs, while remaining completely free of any obligation. The same Lily had many hobbies, but her love for Mayakovsky's poetry remained unchanged.
And yet Lilya Brik was and remains the main woman in the life of Vladimir Mayakovsky, and their triple alliance is rather a conspiracy of intelligent people. All attempts by Lily Yuryevna during her lifetime to publish documents that would open the curtain over the secret of this unusual family met with resistance. "The correspondence between Mayakovsky and Lily Brik can be used by hostile foreign propaganda," wrote Soviet journalist Yuri Zhukov.
Naturally, growing up, gaining life experience, a person changes. Mayakovsky is no longer the rebel poet, herald of the revolution, as his audience and colleagues in the literary workshop knew him. Vladimir Vladimirovich, successful, who traveled half the world, familiar with the most famous and progressive artists and writers of his time, including the muralist Diego Rivera, Theodore Dreiser, Louis Aragon, Elsa Triolet and many others, remains in plain sight. His relationship with the Briks, accompanied by a secret sealed with seven seals, has long been an eyesore to the authorities, who are gradually beginning to promote not only a healthy body, but also a spirit, shaping the moral image of a Soviet person.
Today, when freedom of speech is measured only by the color of currency, a huge number of memoirs have appeared that have nothing to do with the true history of this unloving triangle, distorting the true relationships of these people.
