Mishka Yaponchik is a legend of the underworld. Part 5. Yaponchik's testament

In fact, the urethral-olfactory Naphtali became a member of the gang of the urethral-visual Yaponchik. The union of smell and urethra is a classic example of natural unity. Each of them - both urethral and olfactory - fulfilling its specific role, takes care of the preservation of the flock.

The leader of the Odessa gangsters of the urethral-visual Mishka Yaponchik with the urethral-olfactory merchant Naftali Frenkel was connected by a mutual agreement and the release of prisoners from the Odessa prison: Frenkel was busy for the political, Mishka - for his raiders. Realizing who is the boss in the city, as well as knowing about Yaponchik's connection with the Odessa Cheka, Naphtali sought his support, covering his own business along the way. In the famous Odessa cafe Fanconi, over a cup of tea and pastries, a significant meeting of the two "kings" took place. The merchant Naftali (Natan) Aronovich Frenkel, nicknamed the forest king of the Black Sea, and the "king of the underworld" Moisey Volfovich Vinnitsky have signed a mutually beneficial cooperation agreement.

Vinnitsky promised to protect the interests of the merchant Frenkel, who, in turn, undertook to finance the criminal group. Both realized that they were drawn into a political kaleidoscope of war, when whites were replaced by reds and vice versa. And it was clear that "there are many powers, but one life." In fact, the urethral-olfactory Naphtali became a member of the gang of the urethral-visual Yaponchik. The union of smell and urethra is a classic example of natural unity. Each of them - both the urethral and the olfactory - fulfilling its specific role, takes care of the preservation of the flock.

The revolutions and wars of the past century show unique examples of the interaction of two urethral individuals in a flock: Lenin and Trotsky, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, and in the underworld - Yaponchik and Frenkel.

But this does not apply to urethral sound specialists. They become an exception. Historical tandems Trotsky - Chapaev, Trotsky - Makhno turned out to be conflicting initially and deliberately failed. Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev and Nestor Ivanovich Makhno, each led by his own sound idea, categorically rejected any attempts by the urethral-sound Leon Trotsky to influence them.

United by a common idea, having a common purpose, the urethra (with mixing of additional upper vectors) at an early stage are quite capable of interacting with each other. Further, they either displace one another, or diverge in different directions in order to preserve their people, whose life is above their own interests. Sometimes, by joint efforts, they continue to drag this flock into the future, but on one condition: if one of them has an olfactory vector, like Genghis Khan, like Napoleon Bonaparte, like Vladimir Lenin and … Naftali Frenkel.

Mishka Yaponchik, the patron of Frenkel, undoubtedly liked his business acumen and the ability to turn his gesheft on a fantastic scale.

It remains a mystery why the olfactory Frenkel did not save Mikhail Vinnitsky from a wrong step - returning to Odessa on a captured train. He was not among the 116 accompanying the red commander from Moldavanka on the train. Obviously, the main property of the olfactory vector is intuition, having timely “signaled” to Naphthaly about the danger, thereby saving his life. Maybe the "owner of the zero nerve" sat on the sidelines "on the hillock" in order to have any change in the landscape in sight and, in the event of a threat to his own life, to disappear unnoticed in time.

Demobilized in 1921, Naphtali returned to Odessa and, according to the principle of urethral ranking, leads the remnants of the homeless gang of the deceased Yaponchik. Closer to the mid-20s, Frenkel, a former criminal companion and fellow soldier in the 54th rifle regiment of Mikhail Vinnitsky, unexpectedly for himself, was close to the followers of Dzerzhinsky. Probably, the Soviet government needed the extensive contacts and unprincipled enterprise of Naphthali. Iron Felix and then his confidants made the right bet.

Naftali Frenkel, the future general designer of the GULAG, came up with an ambitious business project: a system of labor camps for "using prisoners' labor for hard work in a sparsely populated area." He was called the Stalinist executioner and at the same time the Solovetsky Schindler, who saved the lives of hundreds of political prisoners. Solzhenitsyn wrote that "Frenkel unfolds before the" father of nations "dazzling prospects of building socialism through the labor of prisoners" and that "the world history of hard labor has not yet known such universality!"

In addition, Naftali Frenkel developed another system - a system of unification and management of the criminal world throughout the entire territory of 1/6 of the land, with a code “by concepts” and “coronation of thieves in law”.

Thieves' concepts are laws created by professional criminals: a code of honor for crooks and thieves. As a rule, large criminal gangs are headed by bandits with the natural qualities of a leader, a leader. The class nature of society, social aspects or family troubles, with methods of upbringing unacceptable for urethral and skin patients, from an early age push them into a criminal environment, in which criminals with an urethral vector naturally rise to the very top of the criminal hierarchy.

Upon reaching a certain age and in compliance with the requirements of the code, they are crowned thieves in law. The thief in law, thus, becomes, in a sense, an arbitrator who helps the flock, for which he is responsible, to solve issues that ordinary bandits are not able to solve.

Having united the scattered bandit groups of Odessa with a total number of about 10 thousand people, forcing them to obey the "moral code" created by him, imperiously controlling and keeping the bandits with his indisputable urethral authority, Mikhail Vinnitsky became the forerunner of thieves in law who appeared in the late 1920s.

I have been in shelters since childhood …

The layman, who had a hard time going through the geopolitical cataclysms that took place in the USSR in the last decade of the past century, does not know that the criminal wars that have befallen the country were artificially provoked. This was preceded by the riots of prisoners, which began simultaneously with the precision of the striking of the Kremlin chimes and swept through all the major prisons of the country. Such was the reaction of the underworld to the death of Vasya Brilliant.

It was the death of the famous pickpocket Vasily Babushkin, nicknamed Vasya Brilliant, that became the starting point for the start of a large-scale criminal war that engulfed the crumbling Soviet Union. Many years later, it turns out that the most authoritative thief in law Vasya Brilliant, who strictly followed Mishka Yaponchik's unwritten thieves' traditions, was the last one who could stop her.

According to the official version, Vasily Babushkin hanged himself. However, a thief in law has no right to commit suicide, and Vasya Brilliant, the secret curator of the entire criminal community on the territory of the USSR, was fanatically devoted to these laws. It was he, a former homeless child, whose experience in the zone totals 43 years out of the 63 allotted to him, who was supposed to continue the work of the legendary Odessa citizen Mishka Yaponchik - Moisei (Mikhail) Vinnitsky, who created a code of honor that became the basis of thieves' concepts and existed, with rare violations, until 1992 of the year.

The code, the legacy of Yaponchik, was systematized and declared by an unspoken law of thieves by his fellow soldier and associate, the urethral-olfactory Frenkel. The former street child Vasily Babushkin was appointed as an observer of the implementation of this law. After the violent death of Vasya Brilliant, the criminal world of Russia and the rest of the republics of the former USSR freed itself from the traditions of thieves and all sorts of conventions, raising a wave of great criminal lawlessness, starting internal restructuring, redrawing the country's criminal map, redistributing power and shooting the unwanted.

Naphtali himself, who possessed "an enviable intuition and wolf instinct", after the Civil War rose to the position of head of the BAM, GULAG and OGPU departments. His biography still has blank spots. It is possible that after the opening of the archives of the NKVD / KGB, it will become clear what Frenkel actually did in Turkey, working as a modest cargo receiver in the Istanbul port. The natural combination of the urethral-olfactory vectors gives every reason to assume that he could have been one of the cohort of the first Soviet intelligence officers, who were later replaced by the generation of Abel Fischer.

Each era has its own heroes and antiheroes. The revolution died down, the Civil Revolution died down, the Patriotic Revolution ended. In the 80s and 90s, the world was horrified, watching the agony of a giant named USSR.

What were the urethral revolutionaries and their equally urethral, supplanted by life circumstances into crime, assistants thinking about, participating in the creation of a new and, as it turned out, premature socio-state formation? Of course, they did not think about their ambitions, they thought about their people, not always having time to complete the work they had begun and not avoiding mistakes. It was only later, taking advantage of the situation, to be replaced by embezzlers. What's next?
